Very good

I really am liking Ava’s stories. I get involved with all the characters just as I do with Nora Robert’s books. However I was about ready to strangle the women for being so pig headed in hanging onto their crap for so long! Can’t you portray the women who want to believe in true love a little bit more willing to do so? Just a little!

Predictable

I love the strength of family in the Dare series. I would like to see fewer thoughts regarding sexual encounters.

ok

Abby was not my favorite Dare character. her reluctance and resistance was over the top. much of the story was forced feeling. I do like Rhett. and it ends well. plus the narrator is still in her game in this one..

Good story

My only disappointment was in the length of the book. Shorter than others in the past. Felt like there was more story to tell.

Sorry I listened

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

I'm sure there are plenty of people who like it, but frankly, I was rooting for Rhett to tell Abby to go to hell.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I'll probably finish the series since I already purchased it because I liked the first 3 books.

What does Em Eldridge bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I like her style of narrating and I would almost always rather listen to a book than read it.

What character would you cut from The Holiday Serenade?

Abby :)

Any additional comments?

I understand the need for some angst, but I just couldn't take it anymore. I felt like Abby had a stick up the butt and wasn't worth the effort of trying to get past her whining.
