Publisher's Summary

Dive into the secret, ancient, powerful world of two New Orleans families, the Deschanels and the Sullivans....

From USA Today best-selling paranormal author Sarah M. Cradit comes The Hinterland Veil, Volume 7 in the best-selling witches' family saga, The House of Crimson & Clover. Not a stand-alone story, Hinterland's plot makes the most sense only after having heard the prior volumes.

The Deschanels are scattered across Europe, each in search of what matters most.

Finding himself closer to Ana every day, Finn must exercise patience, and follow his Quinlan training, to prevent losing her forever.

Aleksandr sees the world through a different lens, as he discovers the joy and heartbreak of first love.

Desperate for a miracle, Nicolas fears losing Mercy to her own delusions, and together they set off for Scotland in search of the unknown.

At the center of everything sit Anasofiya and Cyler, each fighting their own internal battles, each hurtling toward very different outcomes.

In this compelling seventh volume, our heroes grow ever closer to their goals as bravery conquers fear and fate races time.

Great series but start at the beginning if you can

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

As I stated in my reviews of the books in this series, you should start at the beginning. I started this series at book 5 and ended up going back and picking the first 4 books up as eBooks so I could catch up on the series. Once I did, I felt I understood the overall world better. I definitely like this author's writing style and I felt the narrator's voice is well suited to the characters. I will definitely look for more in this series going forward.
