Great to see some resolution and justice for Cassie. She is such a great character.

This book more than any of the others in this series really should be read after Rafe and Jared. There is a good deal of history in those and is best to not overlook it.

Tough story but so true for so many. Good job Nora!

Conner and Emma, so darn precious. Cassie and Devin together forever. Well done, now moving on to book 4 in the series. I have to wonder who Shane will find.

My favorite.

I adore the MacKade series, but Devin's story is my favorite. I've listened to them all several times and still bawl during this one.

Nora can tell a story!

While the majority of Robert's novels follow the same structure she continues to draw me back to listen again and again. While this series was published years ago (some how I missed it) the narration adds a great component and this book within the series had more twists than usual and brought more genuine emotion. An enjoyable quick listen!!!

#3 in the series

In error, I listened to this last. The author mixes it up with danger and a generous helping of devotion. Entertaining, shorter book than some. I recommend the series IF you are a N. Roberts fan. This is fairly typical in genre, it was written in 1996, so some elements in the book are dated, but romance is never dated. While sexual experiences occur, they are not explicitly detailed.

Fun to listen to again and again.

Just such a good story. When I travel I seem to listen to the McKade family. It is a delight.
