HEADLINE READS: SERIAL NARRATOR KILLS ANOTHER BOOK

This is one of those books that would have been a totally different listen had the narrator's voices of the characters of Lord Guy Darrington and his friend Davey sounded stuck-up, smug, aggressive and hard so I just couldn't relate to him at all and this sadly reflects my 3 star rating of what could have been a 5 star book.

The plot was interesting, it had murder, theft, double crossings and there were sex scenes but these weren't very descriptive (may or may not put you off) but because of the narration nothing warmed me to their plight. Therefore, instead of leaving me savouring, reminiscing and mulling over the ending of a good listen (you know how a good one gets you) it left me empty and gladly anticipating my next listen.

Worth a credit? For me it's sadly a NO until it's re-narrated, but I did think the actual story was ok.
