Publisher's Summary

For more than four hundred years, the Curse Keepers guarded the barrier between the human and spirit realms. All that changed the day Ellie Lancaster met Collin Dailey. Prophecy demanded they defend the world from evil…even as it ignited a passion that threatened to consume them both.

Now Ellie faces a frightening new life, abandoned by the man she loves and tormented by malevolent spirits unleashing their vengeance upon the earth. Her only shot at protecting humanity - and herself - from the demon scourge is to claim the mark of the god Ahone as her own. Finding it means trusting Dr. David Preston, a handsome professor of Native American studies whose skepticism is surpassed only by his attraction to Ellie. Together they must finish what the Curse Keepers began, defying the forces of darkness to face hell on earth - and unlock the truth of Ellie’s destiny.

I liked the first 2

The last book was horrible. I didn't like the ending or really any of it.

Better than the first book

This book answered most of the questions that I had after reading the first book. Still not Swanks best, but it was nice to see the characters develop a bit more (and less curse words helped too).

Good story

Book 2 was similar to book 1. Good story but a lot of repetition and swearing. Could probably have put all three books into one.

Seriously...

Spoiler alert.

Look. You can't go through one whole book making us fall in love with Colin, then do what you did in this book. He's damaged and he needs someone to not give up on HIM. How selfish and shitty you made Ellie out to be. I was NOT happy with the way this turned out at all. It's bs. She's the most selfish chick ever and the speed with which these people move on.. Like 2 weeks after the death of her dad and her step mom is with someone?? Kind of unrealistic based on how I thought the characters were from the first book. Disappointing to say the least.

Good Read. Gets better after the first book

I wasn't sure sure about this series at first, it took me a second to get into it. However, I love it. Sexy, steamy with a great storyline.

I'm loving this series

Where does The Curse Breakers rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The Curse Breakers ranks very high among the audiobooks I've listened to. The narration is very well done and the story exciting and absorbing.

Which character – as performed by Shannon McManus – was your favourite?

I liked all the characters performed by Shannon McManus. She did the demons' voices very well. They sounded suitably creepy and scary.

Any additional comments?

I have the next book in the series downloaded and I can't wait to listen to it.
