Publisher's Summary

When it comes to family and Christmas, #1 New York Times bestselling author Sherryl Woods always looks to the O'Briens for a little holiday magic

For the very driven medical student Caitlyn Winters, catching the bridal bouquet at a Christmas wedding has set off a chain reaction that she's sure is more curse than blessing. Not only has she fallen in love with family medicine resident Noah McIlroy, but an unexpected pregnancy threatens her well-laid plans for the future. It doesn't help that Noah - with a whole lot of help from her O'Brien relatives - is completely on board with the prospect of marriage and happily-ever-after.

It takes a whole lot of patience, love and family persuasion to help Caitlyn realize that she can still have everything she ever wanted, including a home in her beloved Chesapeake Shores and a man who understands all of her dreams.

"Love, marriage, family, and forgiveness all play an important part in Woods's latest richly nourishing, holiday-spiced novel." ( Chicago Tribune on A Chesapeake Shores Christmas)

Uh, no

Would you try another book from Sherryl Woods and/or Christina Traister?

I love Sherryl Woods and Christiana Traister is one of my favorites.

Has The Christmas Bouquet turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not yet

Which scene was your favorite?

The last because it meant it was over.

Was The Christmas Bouquet worth the listening time?

This book was definitely not worth the time to listen. The main character's twin sister summed up her sister quite nicely by saying, "Quit whining!" Most of the book is the main character whining about just about everything. Her boyfriend was WAY too patient with her. When he told her that he loved her unconditionally, after she finished whining about something, I wanted to smack him! This book wasn't nearly as good as the others in the series.

Unexpected pregnancy turns your world upside down

What did you love best about The Christmas Bouquet?

Love Caitlyn - she is a character I can identify with. She is strong, driven and intelligent. Her world falls apart when she discovers she is pregnant.

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is actually Noah. Noah, Caitlyn's longtime boyfriend, is thrown as well by the pregnancy but he fully embraces it and changes his plans to become the family man that he will soon be.

A beautiful pasoniate read. I love this series.

I listen to each story repeatedly. When I go to sleep, sit a spell to calm my soul, going for a walk and even sitting in a park with audible playing . I love this wonderful Chesapeake Family storyline.
I ask please keep this beautiful dynamic family alive in our imaginations. We want to know what happens next to newly weds and all the children they have and Mick's next adventure.

too much ado about nothing

this book was terrible. love the OBRIEN'S but Caitlin is a whiny self absorbed waste of time. Not physician material at all. Don't waste a credit on this one you'll have to return it.

Ugh!

I rarely write reviews - but I had to this time. The I usually find some redeeming quality in the main character - but this leading lady was such a spoiled whiner - I really had a hard time finishing the book...

Another great read

Another instalment of the Chesapeake Shores books, Sherryl Woods makes her characters come alive, the O'Brien family have become like my family and Sherryl has given them all a real depth of character. I enjoyed this book as I have all the others.
