Dark & alluring

I can’t say it enough. I LOVE this series. I’ve read it several times over but listening to the audiobook is just 🔥
The narrator really puts feeling into her words.
I love Nate and can’t help but want him and Madison to get together but it’s always going to be Bishop.
Bishop is not the relationship type of person but with Madison, he lets her & everyone else know she belongs to HIM. swoon
Madison is still trying to unlock the puzzle. Memories are coming back to her and it’s not pretty.
“Seeing you in pain soothes my anger.” Yes girl, take back control and make that man suffer. I loved this part and felt every bit of satisfaction Madison did when she said those words.
Can’t wait to listen to the rest of the series.

Suspenseful

I’ve enjoyed continuing this story. The narrator is doing an excellent job being that there are various characters. Amo Jones is amazing. I absolutely adore her dark twisted stories.

I’m hooked

I have a feeling this is going to be one of those series that every single books just gets better and better. I binged the first two books in just a little over a day they are so good. The narrator does a great job setting the tone for every scene. I’m off to read the next book.

Good

This chapter was good. I am really into the mystery parts and her finding out about herself. It’s fun to watch the story go on. Very MOB like. I love it. Not as much sex as the first book but that does not bother me since the story line was great.

The narrator does not do a very good job with other voices as they sound all the same and I never know who she is to be.

Dumbest Heroine in all of Literature

Madison Montgomery must be the single most unintelligent female to ever grace the written word. She stumbles across a mysterious book containing the clandestine history of the ultra-poweful secret society into which she was born (which was conveniently located on the school library) but is unable to make the glaringly obvious connections between the book and everyone around her. Once they all know she has the book, damn near every character asks her how much she has read, because apparently they can only discuss topics with her about which she is already aware. I have now finished the second book in this series, but can't finish the one book that will answer all of her freaking questions! It seems reading five pages a month is all she can handle. So far, she has been kidnapped at least four times, nearly raped, has a history of sexual abuse, but she continues going off on her own or with random strangers. To top it all off, the author feels the need to start every other paragraph with the name of the song playing in the background as if she hopes a movie adaptation is in the works and she'll already have the soundtrack picked out.

well that escalated quickly.. this story gets even darker and twisted but I am here for it. it's like a bad accident you can't turn away from. You just got to know what the hell is going on.. I don't know how I've learned so much yet I'm thoroughly confused. guess I got to read the next book

This series is dark and twisted and oh so good! It's one of the best series I've read in a long time!!!!

I mean wow! This story has kept me guessing through all the twists & turns. The chemistry is out of this world!

How long does it take to read a book!!!

First I have to say I love this series so far but OMG the main female character is driving me nuts! She has this book that supposed to answer a lot of her questions and it’s only 66 chapters and she is only on chapter 11 after like 3 months! Geese for someone who keeps saying she wants answers she doesn’t do anything really to get answers! Either she’s really stupid or just really too f’ed in the head to make good decisions. Also she contradicts herself all the time. Like how she says she has planned vengeance on Lucian but hasn’t even really remembered him until that day??!! Makes zero sense! Other than my frustrations with this character I still think the story is intriguing and very much worth the listen.

This book is fantastic I love all the twists and turns! Such a rollercoaster and once it’s over I’ll be sad to see this series end!
