Publisher's summary

After a troubling childhood, wealthy Evan Sinclair likes his life orderly and controlled. He rarely gives in to spontaneous urges - until he begins a chance correspondence with a mystery woman who sounds like his complete opposite. She intrigues and amuses him, and the interest seems mutual...which is more than he can say for his current obsession, Miranda Tyler, the tough-as-nails, sexy schoolteacher who's made it clear she's not impressed - or interested.

Miranda finally has it all: a good job, friends, and the security of living in the quaint coastal town of Amesport, Maine. She even has an anonymous pen pal - a man she's never met yet has bonded with almost effortlessly. The only thing unsettling her life is Evan Sinclair. The handsome billionaire is arrogant, pompous, and far too used to getting his way. Miranda tries her best to avoid him, until Evan's steamy kiss turns her world upside down.

Soon their red-hot desire is scorching the sheets and has them both spinning out of control. But when secrets are revealed, will their insatiable attraction keep them together or force them apart? In J. S. Scott's The Billionaire's Touch, the eldest Sinclair just might have met his match.

SHE'S DONE IT AGAIN.. A TOUCHING & TENDER ROMANCE

Handsome Evan Sinclair has no 'people skills' at all, no laughter in his life and no fun - he's all about business, his next acquisition and making money.... not that he will ever need any more money but this stems from his brainwashed childhood. As the oldest child he put himself forward each time in the hope of protecting his siblings from the harsh and wicked punishments doled out by his ruthless Father. But one day the jaded businessman read an email that changed his barren future.

The story starts fourteen months previously..... Miranda (aka Randi) is a feisty School Teacher in Amesport Maine and she's great friends with all the other Sinclairs and their Partners.... all except Evan who's been distant, arrogant and cold right from their first meeting and their relationship began and ended with scathing amusing banter. She also helps out at a Youth Centre where the Christmas funds have just been stolen so she sends off a generic email to the Sinclairs in the hope that theIr Charity funding might just stretch to helping out the Centre. But two months later she gets a reply to her email that will change her life.

I've loved all the Sinclairs, but after this book, I've got a special place in my heart for Evan and what he went through and why. JSS certainly knows how to write sexy Alpha heroes but with Evan she's added a vulnerability to him too and he was out of his depth with his emotions and intense feelings for Miranda. Both were loveable characters and there were plenty of other Sinclairs too as well as a few interesting secondary characters. Great story, a little predictable but I'm okay with that, sexy, romantic and there was humor too as two sworn enemies hid their real feelings for each other under a wide cloak of indifference. Then, unknowingly became email best friends, while in the 'real world' they began to let their true feelings show, had sexy times but a secret nearly ruined it all. Dual POV's, could be a standalone, entertaining and addictive storyline and Elizabeth Powers did a fantastic job at bringing each chapter, each character and each scene to life.

Worth a credit? Yes, it's a must have for romantics.... and for all you J.S.Scott fans especially and it also sows the seeds and characters for the next book in this series.... I can't wait and it'll be an auto-download for me.

Better

The story was better than the 2nd book but the sex scenes were still very very similar to the first 2 books and apparently still held in more reverence than they're worth in my opinion. Guess some people like that.

Good story and good narrator

I think Evan is my favorite Sinclair and I enjoyed his and Randi's story. Elizabeth Powers did a good job bringing the characters to life.

Pretty good.

I enjoyed No Ordinary Billionaire and Forbidden Billionaire MUCH more. This story was good and well written, but not as interesting or captivating as the first two. At first I thought I had skipped several chapters when the book went from the leading plots to a future time when it didn't start that way. I of course had not skipped any chapters the story itself just jumped into the future. For me this almost ruined the climax of the story since it went from Randy getting to know Evan and being attracted to him but also being possessive over her pen pal, to her and Evan being together. I am definitely disappointed in the timeline of the story and how it was told, but still worth a read.

Could not finish

This book got slow. It lost my interest. It was good when the H was an arrogant jerk. He became too soft and uninteresting fast. The author also had too many stories going on in one book. DNF too boring.

Another success by J. S. Scott

I loved this book. As in each of the other Sinclair Series books, this one was just as great as the others. Ms. Scott creates such great characters in her books. Each one is different from the others. Great love story, with a twist in the background of each of the characters. Love such strength, personality, character and lots of money too. Shows that money can't buy everything. Evan is a broken man and Randy isn't that whole either. But together, they can heal each other. Love the story. The narrator does a great job with the characters. I can see each unique person in my mind and it is easy to follow who is who in the book. Great Job ladies.

just love the stubborn Sinclair's polar opposites!

i just love the Sinclair's stubborn love stories! I am obsessed with how love conquers their determination on not falling in love. an emotional war where love wins. i.e. good conquers evil. I love the series!
