Publisher's summary

She needs a job.

He needs a sub.

Surely they can come to some sort of agreement.

Jasmine is jobless and down to her last dollar, living in squalor with only a mean cat to keep her sane. On the day of an important job interview, she's spotted by Ethan Cole, the smart and handsome billionaire bachelor who tears through assistants as if they're cheap tissues.

He wants her. To be his assistant. To be his submissive. For six months all Jasmine has to do is be at his beck and call. In the office, in the boardroom...and in the bedroom.

In return she'll become a millionaire.

They say that every person has a price. Ethan is willing to pay hers. Now she will enter his world of money, bad jokes, broken hearts, dangerous business partners, and sweet white-collar power.

The moment she signs that billion-dollar contract, she belongs to Ethan Cole. Her body...and her heart.

Not so good

I liked the premise of this book and the beginning of it but then it fell flat. The heroine's character got annoying and I think the narrator's voice added to it.

If you get this book, get it on sale. Otherwise, I don't think it is worth a credit.

HORRIBLE NARRATOR

I really tried to get into the book, however the narrator made it so hard to listen to. Her voice made the male sound retarded and lazy like he couldn't form his words so he had to speak really slow. You can also hear background noise, almost like traffic was coming thru the microphone. I just couldn't finish the book no matter how hard I tried.

I love love

This story is definitely a little risqué, but I'm all for a good love story. Well written, but the reader had a little bit of problem reading for characters.

The Billion Dollar Contract

I received this in audio form and WOW it was smoking hot. Jasmine has been working so many temp jobs and not getting by and living in a run down apartment it is surprising she is not sick. She shows up for an interview and is one of so many and when many of them come out crying or pale she is wondering what she is in for. What she doesn't expect is to be sent up to the executive suite to meet Ethan Cole. She is offered a position as his personal assistant, but that is not all, she would also become his sub. It is a six month position and she would be paid a million dollars for it. What follows is a tale that is hard to believe but is reminded me of Cinderella meets Pretty Woman. Would they be able to keep theirs hearts safe and not involved in this business venture? This one was fun to watch play out.
