Publisher's summary

How do you walk away from love? Katie's bio-mom is fresh out of prison and wants to start a new life with her daughter - in a new town. Katie is forced to walk away from In Between, leaving the family she loves, an endangered town drive-in, and a boyfriend who can't take his eyes off his ex. As life with her mom takes a serious nosedive, Katie must rely on her faith to keep it together. Yet god seems to be nowhere around. Katie struggles to keep it together, taking care of her mother and spending time with a handsome new friend who makes her question everything. Will her big picture ever include a happily ever after?

I love the Katie Parker stories.

These stories are light, funny, the characters are great and I love the hint of faith added in.

if it wasn't for the psycho grandma

okay I love this book I love every character but the character that I love the most is mad Maxine she is truly the grandma that every person would probably left course you have the beautiful nerdy best friend. but I truly think that they should make a book about Maxine.

all right now back to the story we all know that Katie is a confused orphan teenager that I can relate to cuz I was once in that system and it's very hard to find that perfect family but I did and I love hearing stories about foster children that have great foster parents and the best part is when they adopt you my never got the chance but the big dog who doesn't love dogs who doesn't love cats who doesn't love horror stories about school in a teenager in life. hahaha I'm truly just kidding it's not a horror story it's just so funny. I have read the story so many times that I have so much fat memorize but I just can't get enough of it. and this narrator brings you into the books so much that you just want to keep reading.
