first of greatest series I ever read

love every book in series including next generation books. Owen them all, read them all many times over.

Interesting premise

This dystopian tale has an interesting storyline of mutants and regular people. Addy loses so
much and is valued for her mutant skills. Good start to the series.

Surprisingly original find

I purchased this audiobook out of sheer boredom and the craving for something unique.The world-building was wonderfully thought out, the characters were engaging, the plot was fast paced and unpredictable, and the narration was stellar. I was not disappointed.

Loved it!!

Loved every minute of this book, well except the killing of innocent people. That broke my heart but I was extremely and pleasantly surprised on how much I really enjoyed it. Ok, so it had an almost insta love factor, however, it was so sweet with some very and I mean very hot scenes between them. Lots of action, fight scenes with a kick ass heroin that was amazing too. Then the part, at the end where she got poisoned and he had to......well, I can't give that part away but get ready to have some tissue on hand! Hardly any cussing but there is explicit sex scenes with the H and h (fanning my face) and my favorite.....NO love triangle!!!

The book was fine but not the audio file

First and formost the production of this auidobook is really poor. It has long pauses between some of the chapters and sometimes but cutting.

The world building was good and I like the setting even if I didn't understand why this would happen just because a meteor would hit the earth. The story was okay, it could use some work but not anything really altering, more like some fine adjustments. I lost interest in some parts so maybe it could be shorten a bit to make the listener more on edge but that just my opinion.

This was a great start to a new series. Never a boring moment throughout the audio. I can't wait for the next book!
