Publisher's summary

Tempting Tristan is a stand-alone M/M romance featuring two sexy, lovable alpha heroes.

Tristan and Alex

Fresh off the heels of yet another bad relationship, Tristan Brewer is taking a break from men to try to figure out where he keeps going wrong. He knows his biggest fault - he leads with his heart, not his head - and that’s never going to change. But after several introspective weeks, he’s beginning to get a handle on things. That is until badass heartthrob Alex Wells walks into his bar...

Alex has spent eight years in the army, months in a hospital bed, and far too long hiding his sexual identity. He’s guilt-ridden, damaged, pissed off, and up for a Silver Star for the incident that nearly cost him his life - and kept him from his grandmother’s funeral. But all he wants to do is live the life he’s always dreamed of and forget his stint with the institution that allows but doesn’t necessarily accept.

The chemistry between Tristan and Alex ignites from the moment they meet, and the more time they spend together, the hotter the flames burn. But the closer they become, the more Alex's walls go up, and when the two walk onto a military base, Tristan finds out Alex’s physical scars aren’t the ones that run the deepest.

Harborside Nights is a sexy, hot, and evocatively real series of stand-alone romances that follows a group of friends who have known one another for years as "summer" friends and now come together after college to build their lives. They're tough, edgy, and accepting - most of the time. This series is written in the same loving, raw, and emotional voice readers have come to love by New York Times and USA Today best-selling, award-winning author Melissa Foster, with LGBT themes.

✫✫ 4.5 Stars ✫✫

Since only this book is on Audio so far I haven't read books 1 & 2 but I loved book 3! These guys were sweet, sexy and needed each other so much. I think what I like the most was how Tristan pushed Alex and how much Alex let him in. These two have instant chemistry. Tristan is pretty comfortable in his life but Alex has baggage. Together they work through his issues and they find their way. Such a great love story and SUPER hot too!!

Tristan's friends were also a great part of the story line and I hope the other books are about some of them (and they come out on audio). This couple melted my heart completely. If you like MM this is a must listen!

Teddy & Jacob ROCKED this audiobook. I love both of their work and together they are complete rock stars!! Great narration choice!

so anything by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan

so here's the thing I will listen to anything by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan because their voices are so rich and inviting and lovely. They just draw you in. The story however is awesome easy and full of fluff. I mean there is no angst. No conflict but the inner turmoil the two mean must overcome. its hurt comfort. and poetic at times.

Absolutely Magnificent!

Jacob Morgan and Teddy Hamilton are two of my favorite male narrators. Listening to the two of them narrate this love story was amazing. They nailed it.

Alex is an injured soldier who has moved back to the hometown of his grandmother after her death. He meets Tristan the man his grandmother has been telling him about during their conversations while he was overseas. Alex is dealing with the trauma of his injury, hiding his sexuality and dealing with the death of his grandmother. Tristan is a caring person who wears his heart on his sleeve and is accustomed to guys treating him like garbage. Tristan is guarded with Alex and does his best to protect his heart.

I absolutely loved this book. Melissa Foster nailed it. The relationship between the two guys is intense and emotional.

Alpha and Tango 💙🖤💙🖤

This book is one of my favorite relisten. It is low on angst, but the story runs a strong emotional under current. It’s about two men meant to be together, but to get to their HEA, they had to fight for it together. It’s all about self acceptance and healing and entrusting their hearts to each other.

The pace of the story is good, the conflict resolution is done well. The supporting cast are awesome, with brief backgrounds for the couples are provided so you won’t feel like you missed out on any vital information.

Teddy Hamilton is one of the best narrators out there and he’s done excellent work on this one. Jacob Morgan sounded a bit flat, but he still did great.
Their combo is always an insta-buy for me.

What to say about Alex and Tristan?

This book will bury itself deep inside you and just take over. These two characters, both who are dealing with issues and scars of their own, come together in a way that only Melissa Foster can write. They are so real and relatable, you'd think these were guys you hung out with, and you can't help but fall for them instantly.

Alex is dealing with PTSD, war wounds; Tristian is healing after a seriously bad relationship; and at the same time, they are both coming to terms with the death of Alex's Grandmother (who was in both their lives in different ways). The emotions this book evokes are strong - and you feel everything right along with these two characters.

Good book!

This was such a great read and Melissa Foster did not disappoint with this book! I enjoyed reading her first M/M book and the return characters were great as usual. I liked the story line of Alex and Tristan as they over came barriers and issues in their lives as they were real problems that people face in life. The connection between the main characters was strong and hot. She showed that you can be an alpha and still have a tender side as well. The narration by Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan was enjoyable as the pair brought this story to life. I loved this book from start to finish and look forward to more from her!

Another mm story that puts women down

I fail to understand why so many mm romances need to insult women as part of the process of telling a story. Constant use of words that are insults to women, so often from female authors, are helping to keep misogyny alive and well. Shame, shame, shame. I’ll be returning this book and avoiding the author and the narrators for being a part of it.

Not even Jacob Morgan & Teddy Hamilton can salvage this

SO over the top. Just nonstop emo-angst plus nonstop graphic sex. The story was so melodramatic and unvarying it was like being beaten over the head with a first edition hardback. The book was a chore to finish.

Within a day of meeting each other, Alex and Tristan form an intense, soul-searching bond of trust. These two don’t have a single conversation that doesn’t include sharing their most searing life traumas and deepest emotional scars. Who does that within the first week of meeting someone? It’s all pretty tough to buy, and there’s simply very little that rings true in this book. Such a waste of narrator talent. :(

Did not like story

I did not enjoy this story at all. I was really disappointed that I purchased it. It is not by no means what I thought it was and if I could get a refund I would. Very disappointed.
