Publisher's summary

One rock god. One girl from his past. One ocean that can't keep them apart.

I've been in love with Owen Gallagher since I was twelve years old. Before the world knew his name.

Even though it's been years since I've been back to Ireland, I never forgot my Irish crush. The boy who saved me from his bully of a brother is now a dark, sexy, tattooed rock star who shreds the guitar like a true master.

A night of anonymity.

One night to live my forbidden fantasies.

He'll be furious when he finds out my true identity. But I'm not the same, shy little girl he remembers, and I have every intention of tempting my own Wild Irish.

Dreaming about a rock god is one thing, but I'm chasing that dream across an ocean.

No one edited the narration?

So many repeated words and phrases annoyed me throughout the book. I'm sure no narrator can just read through a book in one go, but why oh why did no one _edit_ the narration of this book to cut out the repeated parts! It annoyed me so much that I didn't enjoy the book as much as I otherwise would have. There was some of this on the first book of the series but way more on this book.

Rockstars and Irish accents! So good.

Oh dear baby Jesus, yes! C. M. Seabrook has once again ROCKED IT with the second installment in the Wild Irish series! Owen Gallagher is one swoon-worthy rockstar.
Bree has been completely enamored with Owen Gallagher since she was a little girl. Before the he was a rockstar, before he was famous, and even then he was still out of her reach. But now she's all grown up and maybe at least for one night she can finally have the dream she's been chasing after all these years. Bree and Owen's story is a special blend of friends-to-lovers and rockstar romance. The characters are vibrant and the story captures you until the very last page. Frankly, Owen Gallagher freaking rocked my world!
Tempting Irish has it all! Full of rockstars with even sexier accents, great banter, steamy sex, an awesome love story and a perfect set up for a couple of other characters to find their HEA's. Pick this book up today! You're welcome.
I had mixed feelings about narration by Kyle Maraglio. The narration was good, but at times it was hard to differentiate between characters. Although his voice was enjoyable, there wasn’t much distinction made by the narrator. There also were a few production errors like lines being repeated, but overall it was a good listen and the story was fantastic! 4 Stars.

Unedited?

This book has so many reader mistakes that I almost stopped listening to it several times! I can understand two or three mistakes but it was frustrating listening to so many. Also, three different ways to describe how her hair fell down her back within one minute seams as though the book was not edited. It's a good thing that the storyline is so interesting or I would have given up .

The Dara Knot That Binds

Owen and Bree are reunited and boy oh boy does it feel so good. Bree was torn away from home, family, and everything she loved when her mother decided to up stakes to America after her internet beau. Even more soul crushing, young Bree left behind Owen the boy she hopelessly loved but whom pined after her cousin and saw her as nothing more than a tomboy kid. He promised to write though and that no amount of distance could break the bound of family they shared. Worse than unrequited love is being forgotten in a distant lonely land while being subjected to her mother’s controlling and harsh boyfriend. Bree learned the hard way to rely on herself and that most fairy tales are for suckers. When she decides to confront her family again she hopes she will have some sort of connection to bonds she once had. All around Owen love is running rampant, his brother is happily married and expecting a baby and one of his best friends and band mates is married to the girl he always pined for and they will be welcoming a baby anytime now. For him though, he has been feeling empty and restless - a listlessness that he cannot shake. When a beautiful mysterious stranger catches his eye he figures he could use a night of release. His shock and dismay comes when he discovers that the mystery woman turns out to be not stranger but Beatrice and boy oh boy does he feel duped. Owen his now frustrated for several reasons - she lied by omission of who she was, he really wants to finish what they started and his family now is meddling in his personal life. He can tell Bree is hiding dark and sad things about her life and he wants her to open up to him, but trust is a two way street and he will need to give if he wants some take. Usually he is Mr. One Night but being with Bree makes him yearn for something so much more but she is quite gun shy after watching her mother’s terrible choices. Can Owen make a tempting enough offer to entice Bree to give him a shot at a HEA?

Narration:Kyle Maraglio perfomed both parts to perfection. When he is inside or channeling Bree, he captures her strong but delicate personality. With Owen, the accent will drive you insane with lust and really makes the character come to life.

I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book.

Terrible editing

There are many instances of repeated dialogue. Also, the narrator’s Irish accent could use a little work, it was very inconsistent.

Tempting!

Tempting Irish is the second book in the Wild Irish Series. Owen and Bree's story is full of heart, reconnecting with family, and finally going home. Kyle Maraglio narration brings these characters to life, and that Irish brogue "Oh My". Looking forward to listening to Shane's story.
