Publisher's summary

Gena Showalter puts a daring spin on a tale of huntress and hunted…and concocts a sensual chemistry that is positively explosive.

Aleaha Love can be anyone - literally. With only skin-to-skin contact, she can change her appearance and assume any identity. Her newest identity switch has made her an AIR (Alien Investigation and Removal) agent and sends her on a mission to capture a group of otherworldly warriors. Only she becomes the captured. Breean, a golden-skinned commander known for his iron will who is at once dangerous and soul-shatteringly seductive, threatens her new life. Because for the first time, Aleaha only wants to be herself….

Awesome!!

I loved every second. It was too short, wanted more and more and more. Gena had done it again......

AN ENTERTAINING, IMAGINATIVE & PASSIONATE STORY

What a great team - Gena Showalta's awesome, futuristic and well-written paranormal series continues and is flawlessly narrated by Justine Eyre so together they deliver a book that you can mentally picture the scene by scene action as it smoothly unfolds.

Earth sometime in the future is where we find Aleaha (who can shape-shift into anyone she's been in contact with) and the fellow members of AIR (Alien Intelligence & Retrieval) team as they get ready to enter a battle with deadly Aliens that are about to land but instead a different race turn up. The Rakans are golden skin coloured peaceful Aliens who just want to find a new home because their planet's been destroyed but when they encounter the gun wielding AIR team they are forced to let their 'special abilities' kick in. Handsome Breean is their sexy, charismatic and seductive Commander who emits a lust perfume but it has little effect on Aleaha which is devastating to Breean as he desperately wants her to be his so sets out to seduce her but first he has to capture the whole AIR team.... but things go from bad to worse.

There's great world-building details, loveable characters, a super-sexy vulnerable tender hearted Alpha hero and a strong heroine who have great chemistry and a mutual sensual desire and longing, plenty of action, twists, surprises, passion, sex and a sweet and sensitive love story.

Worth a credit? As with all of the Gena Showalter books I've listened to, there's no point in trying to guess the plot or the outcome, you just have to sit back, put your feet up and enjoy the paranormal journey she skilfully takes you on - so YES, IMHO, very credit-worthy.

Trivial. Whining. Doesn't advance the series

Not sure if this because it was an earlier work but this story left me flat. I purchased this book because I found several of this series that I missed. It sat for almost a year because I don't like the narrators voice. I was desperate for something on a long flight and get it a try. Usually this series is so good I get over the narrator after the frat chapter and am able to enjoy myself immensely. But this story fell short on several counts and doesn't advance the series. It's missing the humor and rapport between the agents. It resolves the issues too cleanly and I lost interest in their relationship. There's also an odd rap scene that I didn't enjoy and she doesn't address in terms of how it impacts their bond. I was disappointed. First time for this author to let me down. Not worth a credit.
