Publisher's summary

My name is Ally Prince, and I've always been unlucky in love. I don't know why, I just always...have. When all of my best friends were falling for their soul mates in college, I was left behind. I was Ally, the pretty cousin of superstar quarterback Romeo Prince. I was Ally, the best friend to the most amazing group of girls I've ever known - a title I loved, but one I became tired of just being. And I was Ally, the one on which they could all rely. But to me, I was Ally, the girl with the heart no one had claimed....

Talk About Emotional

Sweet Hope hits all the emotional buttons. Tillie Cole certainly knows how to wring a girl out and leave her hanging out to air dry. This books just hits you right in the guts but then it gives you a belly rub to make you feel better. I know this is a lot of analogies but I don't want to give anything away that would detract from others enjoying this amazing story. The love story between Allie and Elpi develops in such a natural way and goes through all the growing pains, then some of a high intensity relationship. And as in any great series, all of favorite characters make an appearance. Love this group of friends/family. This is my favorite book in the series.

Tessa does a really good job narrating this story but I wanted Elpi's voice to be a bit more gritty and menacing. At times his voice was just to feminine.

Absolutely worth the credit. I'm really looking forward to hear Levi's story next. This is an amazing series.

So good!! ❤️

I'm not crying! You're crying! Seriously though, there's a lot of crying in this; a serious emotional rollercoaster. Loved this heart-rending redemption/savior romance.

Overwhelming emotion!

As this series by Tillie Cole has progressed, each story becomes better and better! This audiobook was just so emotional for me, I found myself with tears in my eyes very often. The story of Ally and Axel was such a wonderful story that I know I will listen to it again someday. If I could give this 10 stars I would. Great narration!

Hope and Light

Tillie Cole has provided us with another gripping emotional story of hope, love and redemption. I fell in love with Aly and Elpi's story and wish I had read and listened to it sooner. The narrator did an excellent job!

Love this series!

Just like everything I've read so far by Tillie Cole, I'm so loving this series. This book is my favorite. I went from despising the guy to totally falling for him. Like seriously, he is my new BBF totally dethroning Austin and Rome.
The narrator did an amazing job bringing the characters to life. I did have issues with a few word pronunciations because they were pronounced differently in the other books in the series. This had no impact on my rating as she made up for it with all the different accents she pulled off for different characters giving everyone their own unique voice.
Tillie Cole continually amazes me. She is an all time fave.

Heartwrenching Story of Redemption and Hope

What did you love best about Sweet Hope?

I love to see this tortured and desperate hero find his way back to home and happiness. The author didn't make it easy and wasn't afraid to show the hero as is.

What other book might you compare Sweet Hope to and why?

The only one coming to mind- though I know I've read others- is Molly O'Keefe's Burning Down the Night.

This too, is the story of an older brother who is involved with a criminal group, protects his brother by keeping him out of it, and also has a broken home past.

Which character – as performed by Tessa Ellory – was your favorite?

This would be Axel. I felt this story was his and I was enthralled the way she captured his pain and darkness, his guilt and anger. No trouble hearing him even though the narrator is a 'she'.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

My answer is no, but mostly because it is too long and because I needed a break from the pain and sadness. But yes, I also could have listened through hours at a time.

Any additional comments?

This is book three and I really advice the listener to get this series in order. This book builds on the others and the characters have all been there since the beginning.

I received this book free.
