Love Sandra Brown! HATE this book

This book takes a young woman who has been abused and raped and throws her into a life with a man who seems okay but hurting.....only to further victimize her by raping her. I deleted the book at that scene, I couldn't bare to see her forgive and fall in love with him! This is not romance!

SABDRA BROWN AT HER BEST

Any additional comments?

This is an excellently written novel that represents Sandra Brown at her best. This romantic mystery is also a wonderfully crafted western that takes place on a wagon train. The story unfolds with unexpected twists that involve people with deep and painful secrets that are central to the plot. The love story is sensuous, yet poignant. Ellen Archer's narration is superb, with convincing distinction among the characters. Great audiobook!

Had me guessing to the very end.

Would you consider the audio edition of Sunset Embrace to be better than the print version?

I have not read the print version but I thoroughly enjoyed the audio version.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Sunset Embrace?

When Ross realized how much he loved Lydia and why.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Ross was taken to see Lydia and the Pinkerton detective gave them their chance to continue their lives together.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Second chances.

If you could sum up Sunset Embrace in three words, what would they be?

Hopefully, comprehensive and predictably

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Include more detail with Victoria's interaction with Ross before her death to make her more real so that her father's emotional commitment is better understood...

Which scene was your favorite?

Luke's teasing his brother about his desires

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

A train to rediscovery

Sunset Embrace

I read the written story years ago. I am a fan of the narrator versiion. I am looking to listen to the follow up continued story. Ms. Archer does a good job, speaking clear. I love to read books in the pioneer days and Ms. Brown writes romance that I can lose myself in. Thank you Sandra Brown.

Swoon!!!

This is one of my favorite books! I've read it 3-4 times over the last several years. I was thrilled to find it on Audible. A quick, easy, enjoyable read.
A wonderful story about two people with tainted pasts. They slowly & wonderfully fall in love. The story is steamy & the characters are perfect.
