Publisher's summary

Kidnapped from Earth by an alien warrior when she visits her uncle, Summer Mills is terrified she will never be able to return home. Her alien captors are using human females as breeding stock, and her only chance to return to Earth is Ke'lar, the one Hir warrior willing to stand between her and his own kind.

Returning this human female home won't be easy, and Ke'lar knows by this act of defiance he is throwing his own chances at a lifemate away. Both his family's enemies and his own clan have pledged to reclaim the woman he has stolen - the only woman he will ever love.

#3 is a step up from 1 and 2

I must be honest and state that books 1 and 2, of this series, are only, Ok. They are short Alien Romance’s. There is little character/ plot development and the storylines are pretty cookie cutter. In addition, I did not like the Heroines lack of empathy.

The third book was so much better than the first two. The plot was more unique and the H/h had much more depth. This one does have a bit more angst, but not overly so. Book three and four are both emotional roller coasters and a box of Kleenex should be handy.

There are some descriptive sex scenes but they aren’t raunchy and there are only 2 or 3. So, if you like a Bossy alpha who talks dirty, this series will disappoint you. However, if you like sweet with a little heat, this series is your style.

Couldn't put it down

really couldn't! I liked how the story was all over the place. I was concerned that the Ghir who captured her was cruel but that was not the case. she stumbled access a male who was interested in her an truly wanted her at his side. I really am looking forward to the next book.

emotional

What did you love best about Stolen?

the way Kelar was so accepting of Summer's secret and did not give up when he had to leave the enclosure.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Kelar. He was very loving and a honorable warrior when it came to doing what was right.

Which scene was your favorite?

when he came back for Summer.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed and cried. this book really hit me hard. The scenes were very emotional to me.

Any additional comments?

this no 3 in this series and it the best far. This one had everything. Action, love. It was funny and had some very emotional moments that made me cry. He proved he was an honorable warrior even though he had to do some things that went against his clan and Hir laws in order to help Summer. He was very accepting of her secret and he was willing to sacrifice his happiness for hers. But in the end all worked out for everyone. I believe everyone learned a lesson from this situation. I recommend this book and this series. I have really enjoyed this series.

Solid book - I think it should be the last though

In book three, Summer is kidnapped from home. But, unlike in the previous two novels, she has a compelling reason to get back to Earth (won't tell). She will do anything to get back. And so she starts on her long trek. Naturally, there is a knight in shining armor (surprise right), a.k.a. an alien to come to her assistance. This novel is full of tugs and pushes in appropriate places. The focus on this novel is plot rather than sex. There are number of times where Danes creates a bit of suspense appropriate for a romance novel.

Having read all three, I think she should hold up and finish here. These books can easily get tired and better to stop on a high note. Alas, there seems to be another in the making "Hidden." The narrators did a fine job.

I give this a thumbs up. Let's hope for the best shall we and see if Danes can pull another rabbit from her alien sized hat.

I love that Ke'lar gets a chance!

The plot is suspenseful and heart wrenching at times. I love that Summer is a strong woman and takes matters into her own hands but girly enough to know when she needs help.

I love this type of narration. Although I often thought, "why so yelly, Mr. McLaughlin?"

Rip off for 1 whole credit, poorly written series, hoping to find short books like these on hoopla.

It is a rip off for one credit, should be half a credit, and the author uses similar plots and the same phrasing throughout the series. Also, the author needs to learn how to use a dictionary.

Enjoyable short story for those who like this genre, but very short for one credit. The entire series are practically novelas, but sold for the same price as a long, well written book. As soon as I renew my library card, I will be looking for any books this short on Hoopla. I will only be buying audiobooks here that are the length of an actual books…minimal length of twice these “books”.
