Publisher's summary

"It's not just for a week anymore, Princess. A week isn't long enough. I need more. I need forever."

Rule # 12: You can tease me, Ethan, and we can play, but you can't be mean to me. I need to know that there's more, that this isn't wrong, that you feel the same way I feel....

I never wanted to hide this from you, Dad. It wasn't about that. It wasn't that I was ashamed or thought I was doing anything wrong, but I didn't think you'd understand, and I wanted to be with Ashley. I want to keep being with her, and whenever I thought about telling you and then thought about you getting mad about it...well, yeah, that's it.

How am I supposed to date her if you're angry about us dating? That's why I didn't tell you. This isn't a fling to me; it's serious.

She's too much, but she's never enough, too. When I'm with Ashley, she's the only thing I can think about. When I kiss her, I mean it. There's a difference there, a difference between just kissing, or kissing because of lust, or a sweet and nice kiss and kissing because you really mean it. There's all sorts of different kinds of feelings, but that last one is the most important. That's the one I feel when I'm with her.

It's crazy. This entire thing is crazy. I love it. I love her, and I want you to understand that....

Third Season

I don’t understand why the third season is not on audible. You take us through season one and two and then you don’t finish the series. I am very disappointed that I have to finish this on kindle.

Season 2 episode 6

Happy little camping bubble! Ashley, Ethan, and their parents finally have an open talk. They also come together to help Caleb get some time with his crush. Turns out Ethan knows Caleb's crush.

need more on audible

I loved this series so much. just finished episode 12 and found out the third season is not on audible. I will be reading the rest on my kindle. Ahley and Ethans story has to be more common than i would think. I love the taboo nature of it all.

Good part of the story

I really love how hilarious the mom is. She is so funny teasing everyone all the time. I enjoyed this chapter.

End of the 2nd Season…

Well…the cat’s finally out of the bag... Ethan may or may not have found a pet… Caleb shared some surprises… and Ashley’s ex is still in the picture as he’s still leaving messages… All in all, this series wasn’t one of my top favorites. While this over-all story was okay, I feel the 14 hours I spent listening to twelve 2-hour separate snippets of this story at a time didn’t really enrich my listening pleasure. I did enjoy James Cavenaugh’s narration as his voice was easy on my ears. But I was not a fan of CJ Bloom’s vocal narrative. Fun & Flirty & Fantastic!

Stepbrother with Benefits 12 is fun, flirty, and fantastic. The open affection and direct communication between Ethan and Ashley is powerful; if all couples communicated like they do there would be a lot more love and a lot less confusion in the world. Ethan is the quintessential bad boy who falls head over heels in love. The campfire conversation Ethan and Ashley have with their parents is so much fun; and I couldn’t stop smiling at the way the four of them have such a direct and supportive interaction. I love the scenes with Caleb, and I’m curious to see where the storylines with Scarlet and Jake go. The narrators have done a brilliant job of bringing these characters to life, and I hope that at some point the other 9 books in this series get produced in audio format (In the meantime I’ll have to be satisfied with reading them.)

Gilgamesh Hero to All

Ethan and Ashley have "the conversation" with their parents before making time for naughty antics and hanging out with Caleb. With a new addition to their campsite Gilgamesh the dog is fantastic for laughs and lighthearted moments. This performance was diverse and enjoyable to listen to.

romantic comedy

I laughed so much while listening to this book. I actually enjoyed this a lot. I didnt like that it was broken into section across many books and it didnt end the way I hoped but its good.

The fact that their parents were okay with them being together even though they are siblings by marriage.

This book is hilarious 🤣!!! The parents had me laughing so hard I almost pissed my pants!!!! Ashley and Ethan never saw each other as siblings so I don't think anything was wrong with them getting together. The heart 💞 wants what the heart 💞 wants. And it's funny how they're relationship works for them. I loved this book!!!!
