Buyer beware.......cliffhanger

I really despise short books with cliffhanger endings. AND THIS IS 4 OF THEM!!!! This wasn’t terrible, it just isn’t worth 3 more credits. It could have been 2 books easily. So I won’t finish this series. Not because this was a terrible book, because it was ok, but because it feels like such a rip off. Shame on you Ms. Trent

The writing was only average. Too over dramatic sometimes too descriptive at other times. Sex scenes sounded somewhat juvenile . Narrator was average

What made the experience of listening to Stay With Me the most enjoyable?

the narrator for sure!
I found her voice very soothing and her words flowed quite nicely
she gives each character a slightly different sound and even adds in some accents when necessary ... not one sounds silly or out of place

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No but I did look forward to listening every morning while I worked

What three words best describe Susan Fouche’s voice?

Her style was succinct but enunciation was a little over-pronounced for my taste and her male voices were odd.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No.

Honestly, I struggled to finish it. It's not teterrible if you are into hopeless romance with lots of sex scenes. For me, the dialogue was far too repetitious and the mystery annoyed me instead of making me want to know more.

I'll DIE Waiting for the Next Book To Release

A beautiful, model with a secret from her past. A gorgeous photographer (of models) falls hard. So they are intertwined both physically and emotionally. The escapades draw them closer and then push them apart.

Why is she so secretive? What, if anything is he hiding?

I can go no further without spoiling.

If you're considered reading/listening this book, please note there is a cliffhanger for an ending, something I had forgotten. Now, with baited breath, I await the next in the series!

The narration is very good and the writer of the book lays out a great, so frustrating (again, cliffhanger ending) well thought out book one in the series.

Physical Attraction with Baggage

Lust is the first book of the Stay With Me series. It is Stephano Rinaldi and Kyra Walsh's story. Kyra has always attracted the wrong men and is a domestic violence victim. She has decided to toss in the towel for meeting a decent man who she can have a relationship with. Another fact is that Kyra is too scared to trust.

Stephano is attracted to Kyra. The only thing he has to go on is that Kyra has been in several bad relationship and that his brother Gianni and her best friend Leah do not want to see Kyra hurt. His brother even hired a bodyguard for her.

Kyra has kept her past relationships secretive. There has been only one that Kyra has not recover from. But Kyra wants to give this newly found relationship with Stephano a chance.

Readers/Listeners beware. The story does have a cliffhanger when her ex-boyfriend from the past return. It will cause some frustration for those who want the story to end neatly.

Lust is a story about a past abusive relationship and to look beyond it in order to give love a chance. This story presents hope if one wishes to take a leap of faith and to give love a chance.

OK X-Rated Romance

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

NO. It wasn't bad and the sex was x-rated (which is generally a turn on for me) but I just was waiting for it to be over. I can't put my finger on the exact reasons this book didn't do it for me because usually this type of story does it for me in spades. It was slow paced, I guess because there is so much more to go as it is part of a series.

Never listened to her before.

No scene stands out in my mind, all pretty much beige, no pop of color.

Of course, the book left me hanging on their relationship and her past.

I don't know if it was the character development or the writing generally but I just didn't get
too much involved with the story. I am willing to give this author another chance, if it is free. All in all a nice story, ok writing and a nice narrator.
