Publisher's Summary

A sexy and swoony new adult romance...

Celebrity photographer and college senior Jess Leighton desperately needs to crash the wedding of the year. Snapping just one pic of the A-list Hollywood couple tying the knot will pay her way through grad school. But with security tighter than the bride-to-be's corset, she'll need more than her camera and smarts; she'll need help from her biggest rival - hot, British, motorcycle-riding William Harrigan, whose sexy accent can melt the panties off any woman. He's the last person Jess should trust, but he's her only ticket in.

William Harrigan wants one thing - to stay in LA past college graduation. With a student visa set to expire, the clock is ticking. When he lands a gig that pairs him with the beautiful blond spitfire Jess, he's scored his best shot at living out the American dream. Winning her trust would be a whole lot easier, however, if he didn't have ulterior motives... But there's no faking the intense attraction between them.

Try as they might to resist each other, soon sparks are flying as they devise a plan to sneak into the ceremony. But when Jess' new celebrity client raises the stakes, she starts to smell blackmail, and soon she and Will are chasing down cheating directors, staking out clandestine trysts, and making fake IDs, all while sneaking scene-stealing kisses and hot nights together. The audience loves a happy ending, but in a town where everyone's acting and no one's playing by the rules, can Jess and William find their own ever after in time?

I loved it!

Stars in Their Eyes is a full length novel in the Wrapped Up in Love series by Lauren Blakely. As always, I'm never disappointed by Lauren Blakely. The narrators did a terrific job bringing these characters to life. I loved the British accent!

Jess is a college student working as a photographer/paparazzi to the stars in Hollywood in order to pay for medical school. She is all confident and sure of her job until in walks the hot, sexy Britt, William Harrigan.

William Harrigan is a new photographer who is now her competition. She doesn't want to like him, but there is undeniable chemistry between them. Jess decides on the age old adage, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. This backfires and she only wants him more.

Jess finds out that William isn't exactly who he claims to be. William is actually working for his uncle as a private detective trying to earn a full time position and a work visa. If he doesn't get a full time job he will have to leave the US. He has fallen hard for Jess and will do just about anything to gain her trust and stay in California.

William gets Jess into the celebrity wedding of the century so she can capture photos for a big payout to use at medical school. But nothing ever seems to go as it should. However, fate may have other plans for these two.

This is such a sweet and fun book to read. You will love all the twists and turns that bring this story together

Another great story by Lauren Blakely!

What made the experience of listening to Stars in Their Eyes the most enjoyable?

I loved this story! I listened to the audiobook version of this and it was great. Jess and William aren't the obvious couple. I love that Jess is working and paying her way through medical school by snooping and taking pics of the stars. A family issue has strengthened her resolve about money. William has his issues, but he's almost immediately smitten with Jess. When they're put together for professional reasons, each is wondering what's going on. I absolutely love Lauren Blakely, and she's has another great story on her hands.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW: 5+ STARS

This is the first audiobook I listen that is narrated by Analysa Gregory and Richard Higgins. They are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Their voices were perfect for Jess and William. Analysa and Richard made me love this book more than I already did. They made me fall in love again with Jess and William all over again, with their beautiful relationship and with their adventures as a teen (almost) paparazzo and a young private eye.

I read the 2 books of the series back in october 2014, and here comes one of the things I don't like about being a blogger, I knew the main plot of the books and their love story and their HEA, but I didn't remember the details, how much they teased each other, their adventures of chasing celebrities. This audiobook was a perfect way to remember all that and never forget about it, ever again! Especially their kisses, Oh. My. God. Those kisses. *sigh* So romantic. *sigh*

What I loved the most about this audiobook was Richard Higgins. His british accent was just perfect. PERFECT! I don’t need to say more.

Thank you Lauren for producing the audiobook for Stars In Their Eyes. Can I ask a short audiobook for A Starstruck Kiss? Pretty please! It’d be great to be able to listen to William (Richard) saying this in his sexy british accent:

“Jess. And I bet it’s just Jess. I bet it’s not even short for Jessica. Because I don’t think you’d use a nickname”

Loved it!!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes. I would highly recommend it.

The story is different then any of Lauren's other books. William and Jess are younger and in college and just trying to get through college as paparazzi in LA. They would find themselves in the same places around Tinsel Town. Jess is not sure if she should trust the British hottie but he had something she wanted and Jess had what he wanted. They were now going to be partners...

William and Jess are now partners but they also have a undeniable chemistry. They fought it but their kisses were just too hot to go to waste. They also not only had the physical attraction but mental one too...their banter was so fun and sweet.

What about Analysa Gregory and Richard Higgins ’s performance did you like?

I love William and hearing his voice makes me love him even more. The British accent is swoon-worthy and the way he says fascinating, cuss words or any thing from the many languages he knows any made me get chills, so yummy. And his sense of humor came through, I found myself laughing out loud and having my family looking at me like I was crazy. And I though Jess's voice was perfect and she did an amazing job of a male and also British accent.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Sexy, Sweet and Scandalous!

Any additional comments?

This was my first audiobook and now I want more!

Enjoyable but disappointed by the narration.

This book can be read as a stand-alone. It has a HEA ending with no cliffhanger. It is the story of Jess Leighton and William Harrigan.

While I really enjoy his voice, Richard Higgins doesn't do the best when voicing Jess. Despite trying to give her an American accent, he usually slips a little back into the British accent when speaking as her during William's parts of the book. Analysa Gregory did a better job of staying in the appropriate accent for each character.

Great Story, Great Characters

Loved this story. As usual, Ms. Blakely does an excellent job with the story, the dynamics of the characters and the overall romance. This book was an absolutely pleasure to listen to. The story was exciting and the characters were perfect. The narrators were wonderful as well. They told Jess and Williams story perfectly.

4 Solid Story Stars

The characters in this story were fun and well adjusted young adults which made the book an easy, light read. I didn't realize it was a part of a series, but luckily it didn't detract from the story to not begin with book one. I enjoyed this couple and the fast-paced story. Narration was well done.

Pretty good

It had a pretty good story but no exciting climax. Sure there were a couple of things that needed to be worked out but no action or intensity. I have real other books in this genre I would recommend before this one.
