There I was, minding my own business at Peachtree Books when this lunatic comes racing in the door and knocks me into his arms. I would have ripped him a new one, but he was kinda familiar, and hot. Like I-want-to-have-your-beautiful-babies-now hot. Turns out he looks familiar because I stare at his gorgeous face on TV every week. Yup, Dalton Deangelo. In the oh-so-firm flesh. I let him hide out from the press for a while, then I thought he'd be on his way, and I could breathe normally again. But no.
The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight -- telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend-smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done.
Vaughn West is at the height of his acting career. He's the it man of Hollywood - until the ultimate betrayal sends him into a downward spiral of alcohol-infused days, ending with a different woman in his bed every night. His only way out of the funk is accepting a new movie deal with the hottest director in Hollywood. Charlotte Michaels is a designer-brands girl on a thrift-store budget until she lands the mother of all jobs as Vaughn West's wardrobe assistant on his latest movie. Only their first meeting doesn't go as planned, and now, Vaughn is acting like a jerk.
This single gal has had enough of the games, the BS, and the endless chase. I know what I want most, and it's not true love. It's a bun in the oven, and I'm not afraid to hit up my sex-on-a-stick coworker to do the job. Ryder is gorgeous, witty, and wild - and he's also a notorious commitmentphobe. That makes him the perfect candidate to make a deposit in the bank of me. I won't fall for him, he won't fall for me, and there's no way baby will make three. Right?
I met Bianca in an elevator. She was on her way to interview me when we got stuck. The beautiful raven-haired reporter assumed I was a delivery guy because of the way I was dressed. She had no clue I was really Dex Truitt, the wealthy, successful businessman she'd dubbed "Mister Moneybags" - her afternoon appointment. Bianca told me how much she hated Dex's type - snobby, over-educated, silver-spooned men who didn't appreciate the simple things in life.
I'm not a one-night stand kind of woman. I'm especially not the woman who has a few drinks at a concert and ends up in bed with my childhood celebrity crush, Eli Walsh. However, that's exactly where I find myself. What's a girl to do after a drunken mistake? Run. I grab my clothes and get away from the powerful, irresistible, and best-sex-of-my-life superstar as fast as I can.

I'm trying to get back to my regular life, managing Peachtree Books while being a fabulous plus-size lingerie model. Now my ex, Dalton Deangelo, is back in my town, hiding out from his past and a ton of bad publicity. He's a total bad boy, and he can never keep his hands off my peaches, even though I'm always running away.
I just started dating Adrian Storm, who's been my not-so-secret crush ever since high school. Adrian's deeper and more fun than I expected. I can actually see a future with him, when he's not telling me I'm wrong about everything. Now Dalton has this crazy idea to save his acting career, and he wants my help. He gave me a box. I'm assuming the box holds an engagement ring, but I'm too freaked out to look.
Dalton keeps hinting that he loves me, but he won't say the words. Even if he did, can you ever really trust an actor?
It felt like it was written by a pimple-faced, 16 year old, wanting to get laid! The use of immature adjectives for anatomical parts were so off putting I could not even finish the audio! I had to put at least one star in order to submit...otherwise I would not even give it that.
And like I said, Adrian was the right choice.
