Annoyingly Wonderful

Though I could stop rolling my eyes every time the main character opened her mouth, I couldn't stop listening either. I uttered OMG often. This book is not for people with 0 tolerance but I found it heartwarming.

Christine truly did a remarkable job narrating this novel. The book overall was fun, dramatic, and I enjoyed seeing the growth of Darcy.

I didn’t expect to love this one!

I read “Something Borrowed” first, and didn’t especially like the way the first part of this book began. Needless to say, I ended up loving it! This is my 3rd Emily Giffin book in a row and I am hooked!

Good Story, but the reader is terrible!

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The reader uses a sing-song voice for the chacter Darcy. I get that she is supposed to be spoiled, etc. but the way it is read is very distracting from the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I like Emily Giffin as an author, and the follow-up to Something Borrowed was something I looked forward to. I won't listen to it again, I'll just buy the book and read it!

How could the performance have been better?

Get someone else to read it!

Great book

Something Blue was a very entertaining . I could easily seeing this being a movie. Darcy's self loving, self serving, selfish character, egotistical nature although not commendable is what made this book so interesting. The story line was great and believable.. I think we may have known a Darcy at one time or another.

Entertaining

It was a funny, heartfelt book. It got a little corny there at the end though.

Not as good as Something Borrowed

I loved Something Borrowed and was so excited to "read" the follow up. I was disappointed in the narrator and the book started out very whiny and I found myself annoyed with Darcy's character. However, in the end I enjoyed it and thought the author tied up all the loose ends in the end.

Such an enjoyable read!

I thought I'd hate Darcy, but I slowly found myself rooting for her happy ending.

Still a Favorite

I originally read this book in 2008. It was my favorite in the series. I re-read it in 2012 and again just now in 2018. This time, I listened to the audible. It was just as good as the first time. The narrator was very good as well.

Better than Borrowed

If you liked Something Borrowed, you'll enjoy the continuing drama of Darcy. But the narrator's voice is really irritating because its so whiney.
