I liked that the stories are well researched. The truth of fire service is very different from the idealized popular culture version, but these stories get it right!

Rose Caraway's soft, firm voice adds an intimate feeling to the work. Like sharing the sexy stories aloudwith your best friend. Caraway's voice makes the stories come alive with all the requisite double entendre and sincerity.

A smoking hot set of stories!

Would you consider the audio edition of Smokin' Hot Firemen to be better than the print version?

Smokin' Hot Firemen is a set of hot, sexy stories that all center around our favorite heroes. Rose Caraway lends her silky, smooth voice as the narrator, and the overall effect is mesmerizing. I am hard put to pick one story out of the bunch as a favorite, but the very first story has really stuck with me. Not just for the sexy scenes, but for the story itself and how the woman comes to realize why her husband puts his life on the line. My second favorite story has a damsel in distress hanging topsy-turvey in a tree (in negligee of course!) when a fireman comes to her rescue. Oh, and he also got the kitten out of the tree. ;) It has been a nice experience to listen to the stories read out loud while waiting in traffic.

The diverse stories offer something for everyone.

Which scene was your favorite?

The damsel in distress stuck in the tree.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It is too long to listen to all in one sitting - I listened to it in snatches of time while waiting to pick up kids. Fortunately, as this is a set of short stories, you can easily listen to one story at a time.

I highly recommend this anthology! I love the narration and the stories.

The high quality narration and production I've come to expect from Rose is exactly what I got in this audio book. Fantastic as usual!

I might have exploded (in a good way) if I'd have listened to the entire book at once. ;)

I was afraid I might catch on fire listening to "Saving Charlotte" on the Kiss Me Quick’s Erotic Podcast. It was so good and sexy that I HAD to hear the rest of the book. There are so many fantastic stories in this book, and with velvety-voiced Rose Caraway narrating, it makes for a happy, happy girl (and an even happier husband!).

While this book is geared towards the ladies, I doubt he’ll mind sharing a story to two with you. My man and I enjoyed listening to Fire Extinguisher together which led to some sexy talk and sexy play time. There are tons of well written stories in here and they all tackle slightly different subject matter. Some will leave you aching for a little more and some will push every one of your buttons. Exercise caution if you're listening while operating heavy machinery!

Whether you have fireman fantasies or not this audio book is just plain HOT. Who knows, perhaps after listening you'll find some new fantasies to call your own.

Would you consider the audio edition of Smokin' Hot Firemen to be better than the print version?

I normally don't go for audio books, but I really liked this one. Rose has a great voice, so the combination of her voice + the stories really kept my attention.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Smokin' Hot Firemen?

Maybe it was because of the build up, but "Temperature Rising" was my favorite story. The entire story got my panties wet - loved it!

Which scene was your favorite?

Aside from the hot kink in "Temperature Rising"... I loved "Johnny Blaze" - Delilah's such a great writer, and those characters really came to life for me. Actually, I wish they did, because I sure would've loved to have them in my bedroom.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I didn't intend to listen to it in one sitting, but I was so into it that I had to hear it all the way through. And I'm glad I did, even though I didn't to bed until 6am. (eek!)

This was a real treat for me, I'm so glad I had the chance to indulge in the wicked delights told in Smokin' Hot Firemen. It's inspired me to check out other stories from all the contributors.

What did you like best about Smokin' Hot Firemen? What did you like least?

I keep getting burned on D.D. automatic downloads. These short stories can be good, but so far, this series is NOT for me. Instead of hot, they are weak as the authors did not make our heros as strong as one thinks of a fireman or maybe the reader made you think the firefighters were not all that strong.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

change the reader. Annie Greene is just as bad. Both readers do not make you want to listen to the short stories.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Rose Caraway?

awful voice, and NO she does not do any male voice well at all! Her female voice is just too syrupy sweet and is a turn off. I could not agree with the other reviewers on this listen.
Not sure if this reader has an AKA for standard listens, but I can tell you, if I can recognize it, I will not be purchasing it.

Audible, please try for some readers that can do a good deep male voice for this author or we as listeners are getting short changed.

Interesting

I wish a man was reading this, the women sounds perfect for children's novels. The stories were burn your panties while reading, but the voice took away from the story.
