When I started to read this I was interested in how it ended. I cry and laughed. Great book

Conflicted

Although I will admit like any good trashy romance listener there were parts of this series I enjoyed and giggle that. However it was degrading and ridiculous in the story of the characters. She came off as it is really super smart total was and he came across as a really rich dick. The storyteller good job at distinguishing between characters but the way the character was Red matched the characters kind of stupid and kind of sticky. So I guess that means she was excellent. The sex was really well written however the story was super predictable.

Amazing....

Book kept me open and awaiting the next move that would happen every step of the way. Its a definate must read.

what a waste

I'm trying to like this story. I really am. But the two main characters are completely unlikable. She is weak-willed and unable to stand up for herself. I get she's shy, she borders on incompetent and socially awkward. The guy straight up is a douche. Nearly 98% of what he says is douchy and incredibly condescending. Also, any CEO would be worried about sexual harassment suits. why he isn't more careful, especially calling all the women babe or honey...then, within what, a couple of weeks, he promotes her to a managerial job based on a week-long "competition"? I don't buy it. No way would a CEO of a multi-million dollar company risk their reputation on such an untried, dorwouldn't. a woman, and if he did, the board certainly wouldn't.
Do you know what else isn't believable? the fact that her grandmother's insurance was canceled. Nope. Medicare can't be canceled, so the fact that she is 500k in debt from cancer treatments. Not believable. To top it all off, the fact that this is more than one book is ridiculous. The author is just trying to make more money. Maybe if your two main characters had been more likable, the books would have done better. Don't waste your time and money.

Yes, I would try another one from Sloan Storm. I am not so sure about Beth, maybe?

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

Make the leading female (Fiona) have some balls! She was scared of everything and cried all the time. It got very old. The guy could have been less of a douche too. I just didn't like either one of these characters.

The book was better than the audio, but I got sick of the characters in both. I just wanted it to be over by book 4!

Yes I would have made this book a series there is no way i would have bought every last book. The collection is the best way to go to get your money's worth other than that no.

Has Slipperless Series Box Set: Five Volume Collection turned you off from other books in this genre?

No it has not but these books are so dull and drawn out. Fieona needs some back bone.

How could the performance have been better?

Beth I just don't like her voice of a narrator. I get the message she was trying to convey with Fiona being shy and timid. but she was putting me to sleep after book one I'm about to return it.

The married women they should have been single instead that is just my thoughts on the matter.

Visualizing the sex in the book were the best parts, other than that this book sucked i need to get my free credit back and find something else to read. I really thought is was going to be good because it was a box set.

boring

the storyline drug on far too long. the main character can't seem to get the courage needed to do anything. he mentally bullied her at time to try and get her to do things. very frustrating story. couldn't finish.

fiona is such a whiner I cant even

this was so hard to finish. fiona is way to whiny and bratty I couldn't wait for this book to be over idk if it's the book or the narrator but this was aweful and it's a homely why is this even a romance? makes no sence. just 5 books full of whining
