Publisher's Summary

Even though Chantel O'Hurley was being harassed by an obsessive "admirer", she didn't want some two-bit P.I. telling her what to do. Private investigator Quinn Doran resented playing nursemaid to a spoiled star. But one look at the cool blonde showed him how easy it was to become obsessed with a woman like Chantel...

THE O'HURLEYS! Entrancing triplet sisters and one elusive brother.

skin deep

great group of books. I liked how characters from all four books were in all four books at some point. It tied them altogether.

Nods to Nora

Nora Roberts has a way of making you like all of her characters- good or bad ones. This story is no different. A bit predictable on the love story side but a good read. I just started the Last Honest Woman and I happy to discover they too are tied together. Like the Flower series- Red Lily, Blue Dahlia etc and Morrigan's Cross Circle Trilogy- you get to know and love the characters and she makes that happen. Thank you!

Chantel's story is as intregueing, captivating and mysterious as the woman herself. She is hardest on herself and a tough shell with nothing but goo and loyalty on the inside for those who are close to her. So who is stalking her and why?

This book has not aged well.

While other books in the series are showing their age with an old-fashioned alpha male, this one is particularly egregious. The male love interest is always right, the female must acquiesce to his demands, he kicks the door in and manhandles her including grabbing her by the hair hard enough to make her wince...and then they make mad, passionate love. No thanks. Lots of jumping to the next chapter on this one.

Skin Deep

A love story woven through a who done it I didn't see coming til the end. Looking forward to the rest of the O'Hurley Family tales.

Typical

Typical Nora Roberts. And I don't mean that in a bad way. It has romance, suspense, and it is a quick story.

Fun read

Where does Skin Deep rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This series is about a family who have traveled a lot. The narrator had an wonderful Irish accent that I loved listening to.

Hollywood Glamor Nora-style

Any additional comments?

This is the third (or I guess the second if you go by birth order) O'Hurley triplet's story. It's been a couple of months since I listened, but what I remember primarily is that the hero smokes at the gym. While lifting weights. Which was pretty awesome. The suspense plot, of a stalker terrorizing Chantel on the set of her new movie, was pretty good for such a short book, and I enjoyed the Hollywood setting. Overall an entertaining read.
