Publisher's summary

Kaylie Snow has always been the fun, flirty, pretty sister. Now her burgeoning baby bump, hormone-infused emotions, and faltering singing career are sending her into an unexpected identity crisis. Watching her older sister, Danica, glide through a major career change and a new relationship with the grace of a ballerina, Kaylie's insecurities rise to the forefront - and her relationship with fiancé Chaz Crew is caught in the crossfire.

Chaz Crew has everything he's ever wanted: a lovely fiancée, a baby on the way, and soon the film festival he owns will host its biggest event ever. When he's called away to woo the festival's largest sponsor - and the lover he's never admitted to having - secrets from his past turn his new life upside down.

With her baby shower around the corner and her fiancé's big event looming, the pressure is on for Kaylie to pull herself together - and for Chaz to right his wrongs. In a few short weeks, the couple who had it all figured out will learn things about life and love that may change their minds - and their hearts.

Sisters in Bloom is part of the Love in Bloom series. While Sisters in Bloom can be listened to as a standalone novel, for even more listening enjoyment you may want to listen to the entire Love in Bloom series in order.

A beautiful love story!

This Book 2 in the Snow Sisters series by Melissa Foster is delightful! Her characters are complex, the dialogue witty and the love is very satisfying.
One of the main characters is very pregnant in this story, so we all get to relive the glories of pregnancy again through Kaylie--the awkwardness, the not liking the clothes, but most of all the insecurities that it can bring. If only every one of us had a mate like Chaz! Ms. Foster has written such a sexy, supportive hero in Chaz that it makes even the non-pregnant want to weep!
We also get to catch up and see what is going on in the lives of Kaylie's sister, Danica, and her fiance, Blake.Just like in real life, everyone in the book has issues, but Ms. Foster never fails to deliver the happily-ever-after that we all so deserve! This was a fantastic story with a super narration job done by B.J. Harrison!

Aural amazement

Sisters in Bloom is the 2nd installment of Melissa Foster’s “Love In Bloom”. I enjoyed this story with Kailey Snow and Chaz Crew. The characters were well-developed. They are also fun, smart, beautiful, and quite sexy. Melissa is great at writing between-the-sheets scenes and they are so HOT. BJ Harrison is the narrator for the audio version. I love the voice of BJ Harrison. It is smooth, sensual, and provides an aural sensation of the HOTTEST kind.

Great addition to the series!

This audiobook was provided by the author, narrator, or publisher at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review.

This is the second book in Melissa Foster’s Love in Bloom series. Sisters Kaylie and Danica Snow are both moving forward with their lives, both of them more confident than ever, and eager to see what their futures hold for them.

Kaylie and her fiancé, Chaz, have reconciled and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child. The baby is due in the next few weeks and they have decided to put their wedding off until after the baby has arrived. Kaylie is experiencing some disappointments in her musical career but has decided that any decisions on that front can also wait until the baby has arrived. She still has moments plagued by doubts but is working with a therapist (not her sister) to get through them and try to understand their origins.

Danica is loving her new career and is very pleased with the growth of the youth center and its acceptance into the community of Allure. She and Blake have grown closer and Blake has found a new therapist to help him deal with the loss of his best friend and partner, as well as the issue of his former lifestyle choices. Together, they are doing everything they can to help Sally and Rusty cope with their loss, and things appear to be going well there, too. Life seems perfect.

Appearances can be deceiving and we all know that life is rarely smooth, and hardly ever plays out perfectly. There are always steep hills to climb and deep valleys to traverse. Sisters in Bloom takes us to the tops of the hills and skillfully navigates us through the deepest of valleys. With her writing, Melissa Foster manages to breathe life into these characters, their hopes, and fears, sorrow, and joy are all palpable and make you feel as though they are your friends and family. A well-crafted story line pulls you in immediately and keeps you completely intrigued; and surprises? Oh boy! I absolutely got lost in this story and B.J. Harrison’s narration is spot-on, once again.

Kaylie & Chaz

These Snow sisters are so much fun to follow! This is the second book in the Snow Sisters series it features Danica's younger sister, Kaylie. She is pregnant with her boyfriend Chaz's baby, and is finding the further along her pregnancy gets, the less music gigs she is getting. This is cutting down her confidence. Chaz has a huge event coming up and has to go on a business trip to iron out the details. Secrets from his past are looming and if they come out before he tell Kaylie, things may get complicated. Will these two work to find their happily ever after? I love Kaylie. She is younger sister, and it's hard to see past the perfection of the first child. But her talent and perseverance are qualities to keep her going. Chaz is wonderful. He knows what he wants, what is important and what he needs to keep it. And I love how Melissa Foster has woven the history of Danica and Kaylie's parents into the story, and how it effects both girls. She is a master of giving us that relevant issue and lets us invest our hearts to find the answers along with her characters. Plus we have glimpses of Danica and Blake, which is just icing on the cake. I love stories that flow from book to book, letting us feel that sense of family and community. Loving this series and can't wait for book 3.

BJ Harrison is such a wonderful story teller. He is perfect for these books. He has a calming tone which is pleasant and makes the listen flow easily. I am enjoying his portrayal of this family.

Great Read

Sisters in Bloom by Melissa Foster was a great book. This is the second book in The Snow Sisters series. I absolutely loved reading more of Danica and Kaylie’s story. Kaylie has many new emotions around her growing pregnancy. Chaz now has everything he wants in Kaylie, but things aren’t always as they seem. I absolutely loved reading more of Danica and Kaylie’s story. I can’t wait to read more by Melissa Foster.

surprising but....somehow better than the first!

Would you consider the audio edition of Sisters in Bloom to be better than the print version?

I love audiobooks, mostly because I can hear the story while I'm driving. However, I like print books because it takes a lot less time to get that story. It just depends on what is going on in my life. The best part of the story is the story itself, so I think that whatever media is most convenient for you is perfect. BJ Harrison does an AMAZING job as a narrator and I've tried both versions of the book and highly recommend whatever form works best for you.

Kaylie & Chaz

I listened to the audiobook and was not disappointed. Once again with the mix of Melissa's compelling writing and B.J. Harrison's narration, he seamlessly switches characters with ease and pulls you into the story.

Kaylie Snow was the pretty sister, the good-time girl with a singing career who never had the pressure that her parents put upon her sister Danica, whom they expected great things.

When Kaylie meets Chaz Crew, producer of a local film festival sparks fly. Now pregnant and trying to find her way when her singing gigs virtually dry up, she's having a very difficult time coping. Add in baby hormones and watching from the sidelines as her sister handles changes in her life with grace and ease and it throws Kaylie into a tail-spin that threatens her relationship with Chaz. Unsure of herself for the first time, insecurities rise to the surface.

Chaz has his own issues to deal with. He loves Kaylie, looks forward to their baby and is preparing for his biggest festival ever, when one mistake from his past threatens everything.

With so much at stake for both of them, this book follows their journey through the murky waters of secrets, sins of omission and trust that need to be dealt with for them to find their happily ever after.

We see Danica and Blake, get to know Max a little better and learn that love is seldom an easy road to navigate for most of us.
