I just couldn't take it- review covers both book

This must have been one of the most heart wrenching books that I ever listened too. The life of these youngsters I can't believe it. I was so sad throughout this whole book. The Salvation Song gave me hope. Bad times don't last forever or does it? This book opened up my eyes to how twisted the system is when it comes to protecting children from bad parents. Don't get me wrong this was a very well written book, but sadness was in my heart throughout the whole story. Cee Scott girl you did the damn thing again with your narration.

Pretty good story...

I could actually feel this young girl's pain. Going to read Part 2 in hopes she overcomes!
