Publisher's Summary

The past she can't remember. The secret he hides. And a love that's worth risking it all.

After a devastating car crash stole both her family and her memory, Grace Stanton was left with no past and an uncertain future. Now Grace likes to keep things simple. No sleepovers, never date a guy more than a month, and never, ever fall in love. Which is exactly why Grace avoids Bad Habit's lead guitarist, Brody Scott, at all costs. The green-eyed, sexy-as-hell musician has "trouble" tattooed all over him, and Grace isn't taking any chances with her heart.

Brody knows he doesn't deserve an amazing woman like Grace - her creamy skin, red hair, or that smart mouth that fuels his every fantasy - but there's something between them that's more than chemistry. Something real. He'll just have to convince Grace that he's worth the risk - and hide the secret that haunts his worst dreams. But when fate plays a cruel hand, Brody's darkest sin suddenly threatens his last chance at redemption...and the life of the woman he loves.

Same Old, Same Old

Because JTG is obviously talented, it is extremely frustrating that all the books in this series are the same old tired plot: smart professional woman meets domineering male rocker, then loses most of her brain cells and self-respect.

I had hopes that psychologist Grace would recognize an abusive situation and not allow herself to be treated with contempt. I hoped that Grace would retain her assertive, mature personality rather than immediately morph into a passive twit. I was so disappointed...

Brody believed that he was entitled to be controlling and cruel during sex, as if bullying a partner into submission is acceptable under any circumstances. Why could he only enjoy sex when he was humiliating and degrading the other person?

I can't help wondering why the author created strong, confident female characters, only to have them turn into boring, passive wimps. It suggests that the writer believes women must be stupid and submissive to be attractive or lovable to men.

Note: this book contains moments of subtle sexual abuse, not blatant BDSM which causes scars, bruises and broken bones. However this subtle promotion of emotional and physical abuse is equally dangerous, since all women deserve to be treated with respect.

Wonderful way to wrap up this series

I laughed, cried, and sighed at the end of this collection. Loved the suspense and the truth being reveled at the end. All the characters were so likable. Hope there's another story maybe Barney's to be written.

Background story is so far-fetched, but I forgot about that once I got into it.

It was just sort of easy to guess what the big secret was, and it was seriously far fetched but there were a lot of other mystery nuances that I could not figure out until they were revealed and the characters and their love story was great and I'd still recommend this book. Grace and Brody were fun characters despite their sad back stories and they made some super steamy scenes!!

DNF

A lot of fluff and not enough story.

Two characters who have both had so many sex partners they both lost count try to refrain from each other because the relationship is special. FYI - Even if I could wrap my mind around their reasons it's still kind of a turn off- just sayin. So the whole story lost its appeal for me and I bailed. Same thing just different book. Sorry.

What an Amazing Story

First Ms Lindon the narrator does the best male & female voices ever. The author writes the most unique heart wrenching sexy stories ever. I hope there is more of this series coming, but will start another of hers in the mean time. So glad to find such a wonderful story teller to now read. Highly recommend.

Tried to like it

I really did try and I got through to the end, however the obvious storyline and 'twist' just gave it no mystery. So honestly I was a bit bored. Female narrator was better in this one than the first one in the series and male was good.
