Publisher's Summary

Author Bailey Griffin’s Simply Suitable takes the reader on a wild and romantic ride, from coming out balls and English society, to spies working for King and Country, to the depths of the British Museum. Merrick Sinclair, Earl of Stonewick, notorious rake, and part-time spy is bored and in search of a Mistress among the girls and ladies of the season. But his hunt for carnal pleasures is waylaid when he encounters dangers in an assignment for the crown and love, in the form of Catherine Richardson. Catherine doesn’t want an arranged marriage; she wants romance and passion, at least once. When she uses her skills in ancient languages to translate part of a mystic scroll, she finds passion and danger. It’s a thrilling cat and mouse chase between both lovers and villains.

Reading of this story was totally unprefessional

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?

no one. I am not one to attempt to write a review as I doubt my skill in doing so. This audio was so bad that I feel someone must speak up.

If you’ve listened to books by Bailey Griffin before, how does this one compare?

?

What didn’t you like about Kendra Morgan and Max Turner ’s performance?

Unprofessional, too bad to be classed as an amateur performance

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Simply Suitable?

? That is impossible to say as the performance was so bad that focus was continually on the reading. How old was the reader? It sounded like she might be a teenager with poor diction. The male voice lacked conviction!!!

Any additional comments?

Does anyone check the audio before it goes on line?

Horrible

The reading from the beginning was HORRIBLE. I have no idea how the story read because this english, historical, romance was HORRIBLY read and I never could get past the first minute. The pronunciation of common english words... HORRIBLE. Kendra Morgan sucks as a audiobook reader of english romance novel. I am an addicted historical romance listener and I am so ashamed. The story line sounded so good now I must go and purchase the book and read it myself and make my own audible soundtrack.
