Publisher's Summary

Cassie Franklin trips over nothing on perfectly flat surfaces every day, and she cannot seem to be able to simultaneously speak and look into her audience's eyes.

Cassandra Frank is the ultimate tease; her words have aroused, intrigued and captured the heart of thousands...and somehow, they are the same person.

Hiding the fact that she writes erotica isn't much of a challenge - no one would ever think that a plain, boring little accountant like Cassie could so much as read anything so scandalous...

But one day, she makes a huge mistake.

Carter Harris employs so many people he can't exactly recall all their names, but strangely, he knows her. She isn't an executive, she isn't sexy, or otherwise noticeable, but the girl is cute - in a helpless, unique sort of way.

He can't pretend to say she ever crosses his mind, though...until the day he finds the manuscript she worked on during her lunch hour.

Good start to a series

This was a cute book and decent start into a series. Some parts of the story seemed incomplete, but for the most part it was good. I would have liked to see the characters, Carter and Cass a bit more developed, but I believe I'll get to know them more over the next few books.

This is my third duet narration of Noah and Erin and their chemistry is unmatched. They always make the conversations flawless and it never seems as though they are acting. I love when they perform cues i.e. laughs, it makes the dialogue seem more realisitc.

Awesome book - great narration!

I love this short story!!! The audio version was great because both the narrators read their own parts throughout the book and didn't just alternate chapters. I wish more audio books would go this direction.

Quick and sweet

Loved that Cassie was a writer. Loved the numbers and figures that were tossed out, giving a little bit of insight into the life of an indie author. Her dedication and how she forgot everything else while working on her books was sweet. I hoped for more action in the direction of her newest book though, but there was just one short demonstration :) Also, although it took them a while to become more than friends, I found Carter's declaration only after 8 days of relationship odd. Too insta for my liking.

It was my first listen narrated by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward. They gave the characters souls and worked together flawlessly in this duet narration. Looking forward to more!

Interesting listen

What did you love best about Shy Girls Write It Better?

I enjoyed the dual reading, it was nice to get two different narrators

What other book might you compare Shy Girls Write It Better to and why?

Not really sure. It was different from the 50 Shades series in a good way, though

Which character – as performed by Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward – was your favorite?

I think I liked them both equally. Erin Seward definitely had the mousy secretary voice down pat and Noah Michael Levine had the perfect tone of "tired of this lifestyle" Playboy.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I think when the assistant chewed out the ex. That was awesome.

Smart, sexy, and fun!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

May Sage does it again! Wonderful as developing great stories and fantastic characters in short stories is her jam! I loved every word and minute of this book. Fun, witty, sexy and well written. If you haven't read or listened to her books you are missing out!! Noah Michael Levine and Erin Deward knock it out of the park with their performances. I laughed, I giggled and I was completely absorbed in this audiobook. I just wish it would have been 10 hours longer.

loved it. story and the voices

the voice actors really added to the story, though I nearly cracked up laughing imaging the acting out of the love scene.
I realy enjoy this author though i find the ends a little bit open which annoys me. it is clear how it ends but it doesn't cover it.
read for yourself and see what you think it could just be me and other then that i love it
