Publisher's summary

Party organizer Tyler O'Connelli is on the fast track to her dream career. She's so close she can almost taste it. But when she returns to her family and sees her one-night stand, Alex Keller, all done up in his cowboy gear, her self-control is stretched to the breaking point….

They're worlds apart. She's a busy career girl, and Alex is a cowboy. But while getting together might not bode well for anything long-term, it more than makes up for it in sheer hot chemistry! Problem is, this is one wrangler she might want to get tied down—and tied up—to…indefinitely!

WORST NARRATOR EVER!!! BUT LOVE THIS SERIES....

I have probably ordered over 100 books on audible and this has to be the worst narrator ever! It's a complete shame because I love this series by Vikki Lewis Thompson and I can't wait for the next book to be released in July. I've suffered through listening to this narrator in the past but this one was by far the most painful. I hope they use a different narrator on any future releases or I might have to resort to listening to nails running down a chalk board instead as that would be less annoying.

I enjoyed this audiobook but was often drawn out of the story by the narration

It was ok.

I was very disappointed in the narrator; important location names mispronounced (teton & shoshone) and the wrong accent (location is Wyoming not Texas!). That made it very hard for me to get into the story line.

Hot book... Horrible Narrator.

I started the series with this book, and while that’s probably not the best way to start a series it was definitely a great book. The book was hot in all the right areas and a great story. The author writes a great book and has me hooked, now if only the narrator didn’t ruin the feel of the book. An hour in I wanted to just go rent the book so I didn’t have to listen to her horrible reading. She missed all the key areas and the accents she used made me cringe and completely ruined the images produced by great wording. I will never listen to a book narrated by this woman again.

Great book..can not stand the narrator

I agree with the other reviews here. I am an avid Audible user and have the Blaze Subscription. The author gives us a great, fun book which is throughly destroyed by this narrator. There are odd pauses mid-sentence which jars the listener from the story. Also the narrator mispronounces several well known areas in the Cheyenne Area which again pulls the reader from the story.
I could not finish the audio book because of the reader. Read it on my Kindle instead

The narrator ruined this book....

Here's 5+ hours of my time that I'll never get back. Its unfortunate because I have enjoyed the other books in this series by Ms Thompson, but the narrator is simply terrible. Not everyone who lives in the West speaks as though they are from Texas, in fact most don't so why the residents of the Last Chance Ranch in WYOMING sounded like a b-western movie escapes me. Then she kept mispronouncing Shoshone and Tetons and it was all I could do to finish this book. Save your credits or money and skip over this one and enjoy the others in this series.

Somebody PLEASE fire that narrator!!!

This book was mutilated by the narrator. The accents were horrid. The pacing and pronunciations were wretched. The book could have been so much better if not for the narrator making it sooooo bad. I hope she doesn't do the whole series.

Story: 5 Stars -- Narrator: ZERO!!!

I agree wholeheartedly with the other reviews: I've enjoyed Vicki Lewis Thompson's work for years, but this narrator just ruins it! I realize that it might be asking too much for all narrators to be able to correctly pronounce words like "Shoshone," "Tetons," and even "foreman," but that just did not happen here. Even her cadence in reading sentences aloud is off-putting (meaning: she puts in pauses where there are no commas -- sorta like William Shatner). What truly amazes me is that Zoe Hunter has narrated 22 titles so far. Are they all this badly done? Please, Ms. Hunter... do your research and ask the author how certain words should be pronounced before you go to all the effort of narrating another book.

Narrator was really bad..

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Zoe Hunter?

Anyone else? She ended her sentences in questions and paused at weird moments. Also, she horribly mispronounced "Tetons". Ugh. So bad.

Story was Great - Narrator, not so much

The story was another great installment of the Chase Ranch but this narrator drove me insane with her fake accents making the men sound like imbeciles. I think in this case I'd rather read the book then listen to it.
