Publisher's summary

With the clock ticking, Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson must uncover the truth about his fallen teammate before he and his brothers-in-arms take the blame. When his intel leads him to a publishing company, he never dreamed he'd end up as a romance cover model. He'll do whatever it takes to get closer to the information he needs, but when he meets Anna—the photographer with the striking eyes and sultry voice—it may prove to be his toughest mission yet.

Photographer Anna Middleton has shot her share of male models, but none that are real-life SEALs. She's not sure why the tall, muscular military man would want to pose as a romance hero, but she doesn't have much time to wonder before her boss disappears under suspicious circumstances. Soon she's thrust into the middle of a situation that could mean life or death.

When Gage realizes how much trouble Anna is in, he'll do what he can to shield her from the danger that always follows him. But with the scars from her past that she keeps hidden, can Anna ever trust him if she learns their meeting was based on a lie?

Full of Sexy, Light On Plot - Candy For the Ears

This book was high on sexiness, romance, suspense and did I mention sexiness?

If you are looking for something that will engage in complex thinking, the author kept to a very selective storyline. However, if you are looking for a rather simple (but mysterious) work with plenty of mad hot scenes, this is your book!

Matt Haynes was very believable as Gage, our hero and was able to tone it down for our lead lady.

Warning: mature themes and strong language

This is a giant cliffhanger. The series IS available.

I would prefer to have the whole series and read them in order. However, I received this book in exchange for my unbiased review; good, bad or meh. I've written all 3 kinds.

I find that reviews help me, especially new authors or performers. If you found this review helpful, would you take a moment and select "YES" below?

NAVY SEAL TEMPTATION

Any additional comments?

Pleasantly surprising start to a romance series. The narrator was good and the writing flowed well. It's a short book but a lot was covered without cutting too many important details that give books substance. A good listen.

Good start to a series

Any additional comments?

Entertaining, engaging and interesting. Really good story and characters. Even though this is a shorter book it doesn't feel like it. The story is constantly moving forward and there is a lot that goes on in a short amount of time.

Full of action, steamy romance, mystery and suspense.

Gage and his remaining Seal Team go undercover to find out the truth behind what happened to their fallen teammate. Wish it had been a bit longer. Will definitely continue with the rest of the series.

Matt Haynes did a good job with the narration. Great voice. Good character voices. Clearly spoken. Occasionally the narration was a little to fast which effects the flow of story. (sentences end awkwardly or run together) Overall an enjoyable listen.

Great Series Start!

Audiobook - Narration, Matt Haynes, Really good! He has an awesome voice and his characters - both male and female - are terrific! Really enjoyable listen.

Love the start of this book! Hunky Navy SEAL Gage Jackelson lost the draw and ended up having to do the recon for their mission. But, when he walks in, he's mistaken for a model and we find him starting a photo shoot, getting poofed with make-up, his shirt off, waiting for the photographer to arrive.

Turns out to be a perfect cover for his investigation when the photographer is a sexy woman! She works her magic to get him to relax for the shoot and they drop into easy conversation as he casually mentions key events and peoples names to gauge her reaction and she finds him sexy and interesting.

This is a bit of a mystery with some action (both in and out of the bedroom) great chemistry between the two MC's and a terrific audiobook! Really enjoyed, definitely would continue with this series!

Good romantic suspense!

I received this book from audiobook boom in exchange for an honest review. I was pleasantly surprised. It held my interest from early on. There was both romance and suspense. The characters were likable. The romantic scenes were descriptive and tastefully done. This book is the first in a series and I will read the next one. I was a little disappointed by the cliffhanger ending but it was done well enough that is didn't feel a complete sense of loss or confusion at the end.

Saving the SEALs Series Book 1

Loved this book. It has a ton of action, suspense and some pretty hot sex. The book is well written and will leave you wanting more. I can't wait to get the second in the series!

Matt Haynes has brought life to this book by his narration. The voices he uses and emotions is consistent throughout the book.

Good start to a new series

I enjoyed this book and the characters. I do wish it wasn't so rushed, and we had more details about the seal brothers. I also am tired of the manwhore plot, so I am not looking forward to Scotty's book. I am interested in the other guys though. Narrator did a great job.
