If you can get past the Narrators

This book is actually very captivating if you can get past the initial horrible audio tracks and 80s rifts through out it. The characters have a great story and are well-thought-out. Either I just got used to be narration or it eventually did get better I'm not sure but the story was quite good

Absolutely loved the beginning of this series! And can't wait to get more. The story is so well developed and I love all the characters.

Who picked this male narrator?

I tried to enjoy this book. I love MC books with romance. But the male narrator in this book sounds like an 80-year-old grandpa. It wrecked the whole book for me. Be cautious. if you can get by his voice you might enjoy the book.

Male narrator sounds really old!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Trying to get through this book but the male narrator is ruining it for me. He sounds like an "old geezer". It's creepy listening to an 80 year old seducing a young woman. If you can get past the male narrator, the book is very enjoyable. It's a good MC romance.

I'm really frustrated! The story is promising but the male narrator is sooo wrongly cast! Couldn't finish.

This is a new author for me and I absolutely love the writing. I hate to dis the male narrator as he is very talented it’s just every time it switched back to him speaking I was startled into wondering when I had started listening to a western

Perfect!

First, I love this book so much I have read the book 3 times, so when I found out it was going to be an audible book I was super excited! It took me 3 days to listen to it! I love it! The author picked the perfect narrators for this book. Trigger being 36 years old, an ex smoker, ecigarette user and bad ass biker the gruff sexy voice of the male narrator that she chose was perfect. His voice matched the description of Trigger from the book. Ashton's vioce also matched the 30year old petite women perfectly! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this audible book. I totally plan on listening to it again. And I can't wait for more of this series to be made into audible books!!

Enjoyed the book with the exception of 1 thing

please remove the chimes between the chapters, they don't add anything to the performance. they are disruptive and annoying.

Not perfect, but enjoyable

Wow, I was stunned at how viscous some of the reviews,of this book, were. Ok, perhaps Mr. Hunter’s voice sounded older than the 36 yrs of the Hero but, it wasn’t horrible. Yes, JH used a pretty slow cadence but, his voice inflections were expressive and believable. Perhaps the music between chapters wasn’t necessary but, it lasted 2 seconds, so I really don’t think it should have put anyone into a murderous rage. I have definitely heard narration that was much worse.
I enjoyed the story, overall. I did notice a couple of mistakes the author made by contradicting herself in a couple spots. I blame her editors for missing that. The only other criticism I have is that the ending came across as awkward; like she couldn’t figure out how to end the book smoothly. The issues I did find, with the book, didn’t affect my enjoyment of the book and it won’t deter me from continuing the series. I’m glad I didn’t take the negative reviews,to heart, and skip this book. I’m downloading book 2, now.
