As steamy as book 1

Add characters you've already grown to love in book 1, a new lady with a checkered past, japan, secrets, and some serious steam: another amazing Christine Feehan book. I downed this book in two days. The narration was excellent, the author built further on the world of the Ferraro's, and my phone may have melted a little at the sexual tension and release. If you liked book 1 in the series, you will love book 2. Oh: an mystery lady is a badass. Strong female lead, strong male lead: yummy yummy book.

This series just keeps getting better

I found this story totally engrossing. I could feel both the pain and joy of the main characters. Hurry, I need another installment!

Another hit

I always enjoy Christine Feehan's books but the narrator really hit the mark in this book. A great narrator makes me feel like I'm ease dropping on conversations not being read a script and Jim Frangione is able to do that with his subtle voice inflections for each character.

Shadow Reaper. Book 2.

Shadow Reaper was fast, fun and full of some really steamy romantic scenes. Ricco, playboy, racecar driver has become a serious topic of concern with siblings. Recently, he barely survived a deadly crash and they aren’t sure he did it on purpose. Mariko’s brother was kidnapped and the only chance she has at saving him is to carry out the worst crime by a Shadow Rider, kill another Shadow Rider, Rico.
Unfortunately for the both, they are destined mates. Rico must uncover Mariko’s secrets before it’s too late. While Mariko must choose between Rico and saving her brother. This is second book in the Shadow Rider series, and I feel like we are barely scratching the surface of this “Shadow Rider” world. I am and will alway be Feehan fan I've read everything that she has written and that is no lie.
To say I was pumped about a new Shadow Rider series installment would be an understatement, so with greed anticipation, I delved right back into the Shadow world with Ricco's story.
I love the family dynamic of Ferraro family and highly enjoyed the romance.
My only complaint, I did find the telling a little repetitive. I mostly found the character's emotional/internal issues caused this. I say that this more better but the end was rushed.

Filled with excitement & sensuality

There was tons of action scenes, very sensual Japanese rope play and some hot sex. The only drawback was so many Japanese names it was hard for me to keep them straight, but still an excellent book.

Love and Loss

Love this author. Ahe never lets me down. This is the first time I've entered into her shadow walker world and the narrator had me enthralled to the very end. I will be searching for more in the shadow walker series.

Excellent Story

Shadow Reaper is a great follow up to Shadow Rider. The Ferraro family is larger than life and addictive to follow. Rico is the second in the family and an adrenaline junky so of course his story is filled with action. Mariko makes a very good match for him. The narrator does a fantastic job and I hope he performs the next book, which I’ll be downloading later today.
