Matthew "Wolf" Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn't have to do it very often. He'd been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside.

In this latest entry in the Shadow Force series, with danger closing in, Paige Grayson and Delta Force operative Mace Stevens must depend on each other.
What would have made Shadow Force Series # 3, In the Air Tonight better?
less repetition of dilemma of main character Paige
What was most disappointing about Stephanie Tyler???s story?
Lead female character was SO whiny. Artificial reasons for both couples to not fall in love until they completely capitulate. I tried to listen for Calebs' story to finish but had to turn it off.
Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker???s other performances before? How does this one compare?
She is a good narrator, but the warble-y voice she had to do for Paige revealed Paiges weaknesses as a character and pseudo-valor.
You didn???t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Secondary story of Vivi and Caleb was interesting.
Any additional comments?
I did not feel the threat of the 'bad guys' in this book - therefore the good guys were just 'so so'. Tylers' stories done on foreign soil are better written.

This is another good addition to the Shadow Force series. Mace and Paige made a nice couple, but the relationships between team members drew my attention away from them. There was just too much emotion surrounding the last mission. It overshadowed their romance. And Cael and Vivi almost stole the show, completely. Still love the series. And will listen to this book again.
