Short ..... but oh so sweet

Give me a vampire romance story and I'm happy - and this one is no exception. He is mentally tortured by the death of his brothers and she is drawn to an area of Moscow but she doesn't know why or what's waiting for her there.

It is what it is - a short story but it packs a lot into the 3hrs and I'm not at all disappointed - it was yummy.

Verify Trite and Overdone

Would you ever listen to anything by Laura Kaye again?

No

Would you listen to another book narrated by Raquel Harris?

Yes

You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?

I couldn't finish the book. Made it about 2/3 through and just couldn't stand all the painfully manufactured angst.

This was pretty good book

I liked this book too bad it isn't a series I would have liked to have read or listened to more.

Good but still wish it was longer

I don't usually like shorts but this was good. I thought I'd take a chance since it was so cheap on sale. If they come up with any more of this authors I'll spend the credit. I like the way she writes.

The narrator was good. I think this is the first time I've heard her but she did a good job.

I wish it would have been longer!

Very good story, I wish it would have been longer so we could get more details on the bad guys and the warriors and their battles. Along the lines of the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The romance was a bit over the top at times, but when you get in that mindset you enjoy it quite a bit. Strong leading lady. It was definitely worth the purchase. It was like a Paranormal Romance appetizer.

Russian vampire, American virgin

Quick vampire read in to despair recklessness, sorrow, need, hunger, desire. Kate leaves home and her duty to go thousands of miles to be right in the same situation. Alhough this time the path for her is clear.

Raquel did a good job of luring me in with her diction and accents.

A great second book

The narration for this book was excellent, the character voices were all great and consistent and the pacing was well done.

This story takes place in a different location and with different characters to the first book in the series so from that perspective there's no follow on, but the information about the world/setting in the first book is necessary for this book to make sense, so listen to book one first.

Once again this book is short but packs a lot in, it hits the road running and never stops.

There's plenty of interesting character interactions, and a few sections on angst/tension with lots of sexy scenes throughout.

I really enjoyed it and I've got book three downloaded and ready to listen to next.

Short, Sweet and Seductive.

The perfect Friday night quick read/ listen. The third in a set of short stories about 7 vampires kings. Every story just as seductive as the last.

Vulnerabilit and Beauty Wrapped in Strength

What did you love best about Seduced by the Vampire King?

I loved the vulnerability and the strength that permeated the story. The characters were amazing, and I was lost when it ended so soon.

What other book might you compare Seduced by the Vampire King to and why?

Most any of Milly Taiden's books. The are both paranormal and filled to the brim with emotion and courage.

Which scene was your favorite?

I loved the last scene where their hearts were laid bare and all walls were finally torn down. There was only a breathtaking love left to devour them both with more passion and promise then they ever imagined.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes, this was hard to step away from. It was so good and so entrancing that I wanted to soak it all in at once to get the full effect.

Any additional comments?

I loved everything about this magnificent story. I wish it could have been longer or created into a series. It was spectacular, and I loved it!!
