State's twin brother Robbie and the father of his nephew comes back home.
Robbie is upset with Slate and Amelia because he was not informed of the birth of hi son. He has returned home because he owes a gangster lots of money and wants to get it from Slate. Slate doesn't have any money because Robbie hasn't been around to help with the running of their dude ranch. The gangster and his gang come to town and put everyone in jeopardy.

Great story
Loved the story. Two families fighting over land. Second chance, secret baby rolled into one. Older brother driving baby daddy out of town and when he come back finds out that everyone has been keeping a lot of secrets from him for the last four years. Will he be able to forgive everyone? Will they be able to make a second chance work or does her brother ruin that too?

Narrator
The narrator needs to learn how to pronounce Towns and other words correctly before she narrates another book. I.e. Spokane, WA. It is pronounced Spokan, not cane.
