My name is Melody Greene, and I have a confession to make. I slept with my student, a senior in high school. Multiple times. I had multiple orgasms. In multiple positions. I slept with my student and I enjoyed it. I slept with my student and I'd do it all over again if I could turn back time. My name is Melody Greene, and I got kicked out of my position as a teacher and did my walk of shame a la Cersei Lannister from the principal's office, minutes after said principal threatened to call the cops on me.
Meet Blaire. An underachieving college student with zero prospects and a ton of issues (hey, being the less-successful twin of a gorgeous supermodel would totally do that to you). She doesn't do bad boys. Actually, she doesn't do boys, like, at all. Not that she's a lesbian. And not that there's anything wrong with being one. It's just that...well...she kind of needs to focus on graduating from college right now.
His name is Nate and I should hate him, but I don't. I'm not supposed to know his real name, even worse, I'm not supposed to care. He is nothing to me but means to an end. The plan is simple: break free, collect the pieces of my broken soul, kill the bastards and run away.
Troy Brennan: Every Southie in Boston knows that name. The son of a dead mobster. The heartthrob with steel-blue eyes. "The Fixer" who can make or break you in this city. Oh, and my new husband. Sparrow Raynes: That's me. No one seemed to remember my name up until he barged into my life. But then he caged me. Kidnapped me. And killed every chance I had to run away from the place where we grew up.
A summer job. That's all it was supposed to be. It never crossed my mind that I was about to collide with a man who would obliterate every plan I ever made. My mother has always warned me that love is like a lightning bolt and it strikes without warning. But I had no intention of getting struck by either lightning or love anytime soon. I'd be too busy finishing my journalism degree and landing a job in a city far more sophisticated than Phoenix. There was certainly nothing in the cards about getting involved with an ex-ballplayer turned nightclub boss.
Jolie Louis is a smart girl. She knows that her best friend, Sage Poirier, is a bad idea. He's a walking, talking cliché. The Adonis quarterback with the bulging biceps and harem of fangirls trailing behind him on campus like a stench you can't get rid of. Sadly, that's also the reason she can't stay away from him. Well, that and the fact that they're roommates. Jolie is already straddling the line between friendship and more when Sage comes to her with an offer she cannot refuse.

How to kick off a great summer in the Hamptons: Snag a gorgeous rental on the beach. Check. Get a job at a trendy summer haunt. Check. How to screw up a great summer in the Hamptons: Fall for the one guy with a dark leather jacket, scruff on his face, and intense eyes that doesn’t fit in with the rest of the tony-looking crowd. A guy you can’t have when you’ll be leaving at the end of the season. Check. Check. Check.
Jackson "The Beast" Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick's New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fundraiser, Bianca can't refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother's medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum - money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract - and a stunning ring.
New Orleans belongs to me. You don't know my name, but I control everything you see - and all the things you don't. My reach knows no bounds, and my demands are always met. I didn't need to loan money to a failing family distillery, but it amuses me to have them in my debt. To have her in my debt. She doesn't know she caught my attention. She should've been more careful. I'm going to own her. Consume her. Maybe even keep her. It's time to collect what I'm owed.
An Irish mobster. A missing friend. Two loyalties, ripping me apart. I had a plan. Get in, get my information, and get out. Easy, right? Turns out, infiltrating the Irish mafia isn't exactly what I thought it would be. I just wanted a soldier. Someone I could flirt with to get me in the door. That's when Lachlan Crow noticed me. Problem was, he wasn't a soldier. No, he was next in line for the throne of the Irish underworld. And he was determined to hate me from the outset.
"You've done better." With one uncharacteristically sassy tweet to her longtime celebrity crush, Zoe Miller's life turns upside down. Ultrahot A-lister Chase Covington doesn't just respond to Zoe's tweet, he does the unthinkable: he messages Zoe directly. Now she must decide between walking away or meeting her crush in person.
I don't believe in fairy tales and Prince Charming. I believe in fear. He taught me how to be afraid. We first met on a playground on a wonderful summer day. It was the first time he hurt me and it wouldn't be the last. For 10 years, he's been my tormentor and I've been his forbidden. But then he went away, and yet I was still afraid. Now, he's back, and wants more than just my tears. You see...he thinks I sent him away so now he wants revenge...and he knows just how to get it.
I was warned about Tristan Cole. "Stay away from him," people said. "He's cruel." "He's cold." "He's damaged." It's easy to judge a man because of his past. To look at Tristan and see a monster. But I couldn't do that. I had to accept the wreckage that lived inside of him, because it also lived inside of me.
There are three things you need to know about Elizabeth Bennett: She's smart as a whip, always in control, and lives by a set of carefully crafted rules. She's learned the hard way that people you love the most always hurt you in the end. But then she meets Declan Blay, the new neighbor at her apartment complex. A tattooed British street fighter, he's the campus bad boy she's supposed to avoid, but when he saves her from a frat party gone bad, all her rules about sex and love fly out the window.
A stranger online. Dark hair and even darker eyes that knew my dirty desires before I did. A fantasy that should never be spoken. But he pulled the confession from me. And now he's coming for me. Rough. Dirty. Dangerous. It's supposed to be one night to get me off and make me forget. He'll make me his and I'll pretend I don't want him to. I'll run and he'll chase. Because I asked him for this. I begged him for this. Tonight, in the darkness, he's the hunter. And I'm the bait.
I rescued Sabrina from a mafia bloodbath when she was 13. As the new head of the Philly syndicate, I sent her to the best schools to keep her as far away from the life - and me - as possible. It worked perfectly. Until she turned 18. Until she came home. Until I realized that the timid girl was gone and in her place lived a smart mouth and a body that demanded my attention. I promised myself I'd resist her, for her own good.... I lied.
I dig. It's what I do. I'll literally use a shovel to answer a question. Some answers, though, have been buried too deep for too long. But I'll find those, too. And I know where to dig - the Blackwood Estate on the edge of the Mississippi Delta. Garrett Blackwood is the only thing standing between me and the truth. A broken man - one with desires that dance in the darkest part of my soul - he's either my savior or my enemy. I'll dig until I find all his secrets. Then I'll run so he never finds mine. The only problem? He likes it when I run.
My name is Sebastian Lindstrom, and I'm the villain of this story. I've decided to lay myself bare. To tell the truth for once in my hollow life, no matter how dark it gets. And I can assure you, it will get so dark that you'll find yourself feeling around the blackened corners of my mind, seeking a door handle that isn't there. Don't mistake this for a confession. I neither seek forgiveness nor would I accept it. My sins are my own. They keep me company. Instead, this is the true tale of how I found her, how I stole her, and how I lost her.

They call him The Mute for a reason.
Hard, cold, and calculated, he rarely speaks.
When he does, it's with disdain.
When he does, his words aren't meant for me.
When he does, my stomach flips and my world tilts on its axis.
He is 33.
I am 18.
He's a single dad and my father's business partner.
I'm just a kid to him and his enemy's daughter.
He's emotionally unavailable.
And I am...feeling. Feeling things I shouldn't feel for him.
Trent Rexroth is going to break my heart. The writing isn't just on the wall, it's inked on my soul.
And yet I can't stay away.
A scandal is the last thing my family needs. But a scandal is what we're going to give them.
And oh, what beautiful chaos it will be.
first off, the narration was perfection. Rexroth and Edie were a disaster apart and even more so together. Shen took 2 strong confident characters and put them together in an explosive display of power. who was going to win the game.. or could there really be a winner? hearts that are so hard come together and we wait with baited breath to see if they can crack

This book was just amazing! This series is amazing. I highly recommend this series. It's entertaining, it's real life, it's addicting, it's worth a credit and then some. You will be hooked and won't want to stop until the last page has been heard. I listened in 1 day! Plus The narrators are a perfect fit. ❤️❤️❤️

I have listened to the entire series, which I have loved, but this is absolutely my favorite. My favorite men are usually the anti-hero who take forever to come around, but when they fall... sigh. My favorite female characters are the strong w/o anger types. This story had both. The cherry on top was Luna! The narrators were perfect for my ears and I will be looking both up with their other work. LJ Shen is just a one click for me, period!

Audiobook: Narrated by Savannah Peachwood and Christian Rummel
The narrators did an exceptional job! I was never confused as to who was speaking or if they were speaking or thinking. They both gave so much life to the characters and helped to pull me deeper into the story. Amazing. Simply amazing.
Edie carries a heavy burden and does everything she can to make sure that burden is cared for. Even if it means breaking the law. When Trent intervenes he warns her that he’ll use what he has on her at a future time. He is dark and dangerous and despite being her father’s business partner, she is so very attracted to him.
Her father is also holding something against her, threatening what she holds most dear. If she doesn’t do as he instructs, he will crush her in the worse way possible. Setting her up in a job at his company, he tells her his expectations and sits back to wait.
Although Edie is almost half his age, Trent is being slowly driven crazy by the teenager. He hates her, but craves her. He doesn’t trust her at all, and yet she makes his little girl smile. This whole thing they have going on between them can lead no where but to disaster but he can’t stop himself from taking her and making her his.
I loved that Trent was so possessive of Edie. That despite the burning animosity they held for each other, he gave in to his desire. This is one messed up relationship but dang if it didn’t work.
Scandalous was an awesome book that I just didn’t want to stop listening to once I started. I loved everything about it, with just a minor exception – my safety friends would agree. Nevertheless, I must go back and reread Vicious because I might just be able to love him now that I know Trent so well.

I have been waiting to listen to this next book in the series and it is my favorite! I like how this was an enemies to lovers story but it was also about overcoming so much. Not only was the story great the narrators did such a great job with not only reading the story but they brought the feelings acrossed in the story. I loved it!!

Blown Away!!!
Trent Rexroth takes the cake!!
I didn't think LJ Shen could out do herself after Vicious and Ruckus but I was completely wrong.
Scandalous was FANTASTIC!!!
LJ Shen can weave words together like shes mastered a craft. Her story line, characters, and overall delivery of this book is like nothing you will ever experience.
I listened to this on Audio and I'm so glad I did.
When the book was released I wanted to read it so bad but I held out, waiting for the audiobook.
Narrator Christian Rummel speaks like his words are made of butter. It's so sexy and he nails the whole bad Boy thing like it's nobody's business!!
Absolutely my favorite male narrator!!
Savannah Peachwood is the perfect Edie. She has that sweet and soft voice yet also pushes back.
Both narrators made this story come to life.
I could listen to them all day on repeat.
This story was heart pounding. Highly addictive and wickedly sexy.
The power plays. The need for control. The forbidden.
It was all that and more!!
LJ Shen is my go to, one-click author.
You have not experienced a book that gives you all the right feels until you've experienced a work of art by Author LJ Shen.
Highly Recommend!!!

This was an amazing Novel, especially to experience it audibly! The Narrator's did an exceptional performance and the story is such a unique love story that it's one of those rare Novels that one can only hope to come across that you literally just can't put down until you are finished yet once you do come to the conclusion; your sad and feel desperate for s sequel!

I’ve listened to audio books before, and never finished because I got bored.
This one, however, gripped my attention like a vice.
The narrators were excellent at portraying the characters and injecting the emotions into theirs voice that I could’ve believed they were them.
The story was great, too.
This was my first book by this author, and I loved it.
Edi’s and Trent’s relationship was both volatile and explosive, their personalities clashing at every turn. But when they dropped their tough exteriors, their deep scars were bared.
At first, I was sceptical about the age difference, but LJ Shen made it work effortlessly, and I found that I was rooting for them to get together.
A fantastic story, and would recommend this book.
Dident think this series could get any better but it does, this book has such a story to it which is compulsive listening , the narrators are super and perfect for the book, I love Trent and Eddies story both damaged both have a story to tell unexpected twists and turns yes it’s HEA but still not predictable, loved it five stars all the way
Read the book and glad I downloaded the audio.... absolutely fabulous!!! The voices were exactly as I expected!!! Full of angst and twists and turns!!! Loved it!!!
