Publisher's summary

An enemies-to-lovers romance from USA Today best-selling author Siobhan Davis. Stand-alone, with an HEA and no cliff-hanger.

Brad

I'm in love with my best friend's girl.

She knows it. He knows it. Everyone knows it.

Faye will never be mine, but try telling that to my stupid heart. An endless rotation of girls streams in and out of my bedroom in a desperate attempt to forget her, but nothing eases the horrid ache in my chest. Rejection isn't anything new for me, but it hasn't gotten any easier.

Until she reappears in my life. Like an out-of-control tornado. Storming in, all fierce and angry, ready to steamroll everything in her path. Rachel is trouble with a capital T bundled in a gorgeous, sexy, Irish package.

She pushes all the wrong buttons, and I can't decide if I want to yell at her or kiss her.

I should steer clear.

But I've never been very good at taking my own advice. Especially when it comes to girls I can't have and shouldn't want.

Rachel

I need to escape.

To put as much distance between me and that monster so I can start living my life.

Yet even the vast Atlantic Ocean isn't enough to sever the connection. To allow me to forget how he's ruined me. His hold is more than just physical. He has a vise grip on my head and my heart, and I can't breathe, can't think, can't function.

So, I do everything to blot it out.

Until he reappears in my life.

Brad McConaughey. So hot. So infuriating. So in love with my best friend.

Every word out of Brad's mouth makes me want to throat punch him or kick him in the nuts. But he makes me feel, and I hate him for it. A part of me might actually love him for it.

I should keep my distance, but like destructive magnets, we are drawn together.

This isn't going to end well.

I know it. He knows it.

But we're powerless to resist.

Will I enjoy this book?

If you enjoy emotional, angsty new-adult romance with hot guys and a dash of drama set within a college backdrop, then you should enjoy Saving Brad! Fans of this series have also enjoyed titles by Tijan, Erin Watt, Penelope Douglas, Ginger Scott, Jay McLean, Jillian Dodd, Sara Ney, Sara Wolf, Abbi Glines, Rachel Van Dyken, Chloe Walsh, and other similar authors.

Didn’t like it

This story was all sex. The h was easy and the H was a player and jerk. I couldn’t finish bc the h was too weak.

Oh Brad

I was so happy he got his HEA and with Rachel. He broke my heart and honestly at one point I was rooting for him and faye but this was much better all around! Narrators really did a great job with it.

Brad and Rachel!

Brad is in love with Faye despite the fact that she is in love with his best friend Kyler and he knows that they will never be more than friends. He also has the additional burden of being abandoned by his family and having no support system. He numbs the pain with alcohol and sex however rather than easing his problems it only increases them.

Rachel is trying to escape the demons from her past and she believes the best way to do that is to be close to Faye so she packs up and tries to leave Ireland and its memories behind. Her only hope is that her past doesn’t follow her.

Brad and Rachel strike sparks in each other and although they do their best to antagonize each other their true feelings emerge and they see each other in a different light. They both have traumatic pasts that they must overcome before they can truly be together and their journey is not without its setbacks but the end result is so worth the bumps.

I loved both these characters as Rachel is strong and feisty despite her past and Brad has finally become the man we always knew that he was. Together they help each other heal and become much stronger together than apart. The story has some suspense, a few twists and a whole lot of drama, angst and chemistry. I thought the narrators did a great job of bringing the story to life.

Full of Romance, Heat & Suspense!!!

WOW!!! When this started i was disgusted with Brad. But Rachel really turns him around! I love Rachel!! She is a very strong person and throughout the book I came to like her even more!!! Rachel is good for him. They were good for each other.

Oh....I have to insert this here....I think Faye would be the coolest chic to have as a friend!! She’s an AWESOME, LOYAL, CARING friend and the girl is SOOO FUNNY!!!

Anyway, it was nice to see the old Brad....the one from book 1 of the Kennedy Boys series (Finding Kyler)....when he was such a sweetheart. If you haven’t read that book....holy crap! You. Are. Missing. Out.

So much happens in this book! It’s filled with not only lots of passion and romance, but tons of suspense!! Both these main characters go through a lot in this story, and it’s pretty major. Tons of twists & turns!!

Highly recommended!!!

Great Narration!

First, the narrators of the audio did an excellent job. Especially the female narrator! She fits the character well. I believe she did the voice of Faye in the first 3 books of this series, and she did great then as well. I'd definitely recommend the audio if you choose to read this story.

Love Siobhan Davis' writing! She knows how to write stories that draw you in, and keep you interested till the very end. Saving Brad is part of the Kennedy Boys series, and I'd recommend reading the previous books, but it isn't absolutely necessary. Brad has been on my bad side for quite awhile in this series because of his manwhore ways, and his lack of maturity, but I still had hope for him going into this book. He did grow on me, but I still don't like his excuses for his behavior. He needed to do a lot of growing up in this book, and it was good to see him realize that his attitude and actions aren't doing him any favors. I wasn't a huge fan of Rachel's either from the previous books, but this book did help me understand her more. Brad and her are cute together; they don't have the Faye and Kyler connection, but they have their moments. These 2 had a long way to go with me, and it's really hard not to root for them with how Siobhan Davis writes their story, so in the end, I liked them both. Rachel is dealing with some heavy stuff in this book, and it's great to see her realize her worth and stick up for herself. She has low self worth and Brad treats her badly at times and they both needed to mature a lot. So, they do have some sweetness to them in the end. I liked the suspense element in the story, and of course, it's super great to see more of Ky and Faye! I'm not too sure about the premise for the next book in this series, but Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite writers, so I'll definitely check it out!

Good addition

This book may be my favorite of the series so far, just because Brad was such a thorn for the first few books so it was nice to see him redeem himself and I love how well Rachel suited him. I knew that Rachel had secrets but dang she was hiding a big one, and it was just what they needed to push them past the last hurdle.
Good series so far and I can’t wait to see what comes next.

Brad and Rachel

So excited for Brad and Rachel to get their HEA. We learn about Rachel’s secret and Brad finally clears the air with Ky and Faye.
Male narrator was a bit robotic.
Looking forward to all the other Kennedy books.
