Publisher's summary

Eloise Foley, known to her friends as Weezie, has been through the divorce from hell. Her ex-husband Tal (aka Talmadge Evans III) was awarded their house in Savannah's historic district, the house that Weezie had spent years painstakingly restoring to its original splendor. Weezie was awarded the two-bedroom carriage house on the same property. Each was sure the other would sell. But Tal has taken up residence in the main house with his new girlfriend Caroline DeSantos (who never seems to perspire or have a hair out of place during the wilting Savannah summer), Weezie is running her antiques business out back, and neither will budge. She's also got a few loony relatives and a hunky former boyfriend to contend with, and if that's not enough, dirty deals aplenty wherever she turns.

In this town, where everybody knows everybody's business, something's got to give, and something does....

Just loved it

What did you love best about Savannah Blues?

I'm a sucker for southern everything, but this one just brings it all in -- you get the history and the modern well-to-do's and that one character that you wish you had the chutzpah to be now and again

What does Susan Ericksen bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The narrator had the uncanny ability to capture the soul of each and every one of the characters just as I would have envisioned and then some. Her style was authentic and sassy with all the right amounts.

Any additional comments?

I loved it. This was my first Mary Kay Andrews book. I've since listened to all that were available. Can't wait for what's next!

Good story

A little boring at first I didn't get into the book until half way through. Too much detail to things that didn't matter to the story.

Great not so scary mystery!

I loved the story and I feel like the two main characters are especially rich with detail. But my favorite part about this was that it was based locally to me, and the research was very accurate, and the narrator. She is amazing! Great southern drawl.

Exceptional & fun!

I really enjoyed this book and the narrator is AMAZING! The only negative was the occasional language.

Loved it

I enjoyed the humor and different storyline. I like stories set in the South and found the narrators accent delightful. Will purchase another MKA book right away.

Delightfully different!

Unlike a lot of books to which I have listened, this one was not set in some glamorous locale with some prince or duke who was filthy rich. It was sweet and working class and I loved it! I could relate to it. Very much enjoyed the voice of the reader. I have listened to many of her JD Robb book readings. Excellent reader!
