This latest installment of the TerraMates series is unlike the stories before. This can be listened to as a standalone. It really has no relation to TerraMates other than two small references and unlike the other stories it does not feature a bride leaving to another planet. Lisa changed the game up and set this story smack dab on planet Earth! Starting with a daring rescue that ends with a crash landing!

Michelle thinks she is where she wants to be in life. She is in a relationship with a famous, hot, actor who is running for office. She has a job she has excels at and is quickly moving up the corporate ladder but somewhere in the back of her mind lurks a strong want for something. What she is not sure of and she does not know what it is or where to find it. Somehow she winds up visiting TerrMates. She quickly realizes she should not be there but not be for a smoking hot alien catches her eye. The chance encounter sparks a series of events that leads them straight in to each other's arms and turns her world upside down!

Full of action and love

This has to be my favorite Lisa Lace story in the Terra Mates series. It was different. It actually took place on Earth. It has it all. Lots of action, betrayal and love. If you Lisa Lace you will really enjoy this story. I received this audio book free for an honest review. Glad i was given the chance to listen.

Adventure and Romance (aka, sex)

This one was quite a story. Full of sexual tension and just plain sex, it was not exactly my cup of tea but was well written otherwise and had a good story line to it. I did enjoy the adventure and the as the plot thickened, the character development grew stronger.
Samantha Leatherwood and Paul Brion were fun to listen to and made the audiobook an entertaining listen.

He's Not Savage At All

I really enjoyed this story about Michelle a human who is in a long term relationship with Tate, a movie/TV star who I thought was beyond hope, he cheated, he lied, he was jealous and possessive - all in all just the guy you want to avoid because he's so in love with himself he doesn't really need anyone else.

Deep down Michelle knows this isn't what she really wants, she dreams of visiting another planet, of meeting someone who will put her first. She toys with the idea of signing up for Terra Mates and whilst visiting their office, just for a look, she meets by chance an attractive alien called Caspian.

Caspian is a Yarian Keeper, a soldier, who is returning from an important mission with his crew and his Prince when they are forced to land on Earth. Stranded there whilst they await parts to repair their ship he meets Michelle and feels an instant attraction. Cass believes in "Flaura" fated life long mates but so far he has not found his. Yarian's are a fun loving hard drinking hard living race and Cass has always been just like his companions but suddenly he is only interested in one female - Michelle.

There are a lot of things going on in this story, but If i tell you it will spoil the book for you so what I will say is the story has lots of twists and turns, lots of action, betrayal and intrigue. It also has some very hot, sexy steamy scenes and nobody writes alien love scenes like Lisa Lace. So if you are a fan of this genre you will love this book.

It is very well performed and brought to life by it's narrators making this an enjoyable listen.

I was given this book as a gift and am voluntarily writing this review.

Action packed and amazing

Michelle is a hard worker at Textra Corporation for 4 years now and has a boyfriend that has a double standard in viewing life. He is an actor and his job is to be a flirt but no male is to talk to.
Cash is the right hand man of prince Jethro of the yarian and a keeper. Their ship crashes on earth where he meets Michelle.
Michelle cheats on her jurk boyfriend with Cas. Cas on the other hand has been sleeping with as many women as he can. That kind of thing would not be on my list of heroes but it seems it's normal for his people and the author portrayed that. It's just not my thing but I wanted to added that to give a full review.

Lots of great action in this one. The characters are unusual and well writen. I enjoyed the story and like i saI'd the actin was wild. SyFy fans should love it.

The Right Woman Can ...

Would you consider the audio edition of Savage Alien to be better than the print version?

Yes. The two narrators were great. They kept the story moving along and brought the characters to life. I listened to the whole story in one sitting, which is only possible when the narration is good.

What did you like best about this story?

When Michelle finally realizes that her movie star boyfriend doesn't really care about her. She wanted to believe that she had the ideal life, but she was obviously the only one working on the relationship. When she is finally ready to accept this, it's a great moment.

Any additional comments?

This is a good alien/human romance with most of the story taking place on Earth.

As in several other TerraMates stories, dreams expose the alien lover. When they really meet, it is difficult for her to believe that it is real. It also leaves her with a dilemma; what to do about meeting a person from their dream whom she has imagined a relationship with?

There is not a lot of world building required in this story as almost all of it takes place on Earth. There is, however, cultural information on the aliens. We learn what we need to know to understand the story and the motivations of the aliens. There are both good and bad actions and motivations by the aliens as there are by the humans adding to the depth of the story and the characters.

Michelle is a strong character. Her growth and ability to adapt as the story progresses leads to the actions required of her near the end of the story.

This is book 12 in the series. It isn't often that you can read the 12th book in a series without being at least somewhat bored with the series. Lisa has done a great job of keeping the series fresh. Each story has different set ups, different motives for using TerraMates, and different settings. Each story is a new adventure which keeps the series from getting old.

Overall, I really enjoyed this audiobook.

Cool and ineteresting

it was so cool, for me this one had the perfect balance of romance, action and intrigue. cass was so interesting and loyal, liked him and michelle was pretty independent I liked that she tried everything to try save a relationship but the way she ended up with cass, perfect.
and all the yarian conspiracies and such truly added body to the plot.

Unexpected love

Totally beautiful and moving, I can never resist a Lisa Lace book and now audio.... totally entrancing! The narrator's did an excellent job of portraying their characters and am looking forward to hearing their voices again and again!

a new favorite

as a long time follower of this series I think this is a new favorite. unlike most others the majority of this story is on earth. however, that is not why I enjoyed it so much, it's a nice change to stay on earth but the story is very detailed and developed. there are many undercurrents to the relationships and the secrets are just as deep as the feelings. there is explicit adult content and some complex relationships. a breath of fresh air in a world full of predictable storylines.

Anther great story!

If you want something with all different things add in especially some hot romance then look no further. As with all the terramates this is no exception to the rules. Enjoy this book and this series!
