Lexie Blake does it again!

The twists and turns in the plot and not figuring out the ending until it was revealed makes this a most enjoyable listen.

I weep for Ian!

I don't like how the performer does Ian. He is the best part of the series and I didn't appreciate the performance in the first book at all. I tried to see this book separately, but I miss the original voice performer. Ms Shawnee is fine for this book, but not the one it needed. She improved from the first book performance which I appreciated. I did love that Ian was finally in this book! Rabid puppy talk and I was laughing so hard. How he expresses himself is so amusing, but hard to hear with this performer. I recommend listening to the masters and mercenaries series and the original voice actor for Ian to better listen to this book and hear what Ian should normally sound like with how the original voice actor would have portrayed the character. I still loved the words, but had to redo it in original Ian to get the best laugh.

Nail. Bitting!!

A great series. The best part is the connection and inclusion of the Ian Taggart group from masters and mercenaries series.
Did not like the voice of the narrator. Too flat.

What an ending!!

The storyline is great the ending is amazing! The only thing that detracted from the entire book for me was the readers voice and the portrayal of the male characters.

Dual POV

I really loved this. I just wish if the book is in dual POV then the narrative should be in dual POV. The female voice in the male POV is just off putting to me.

Good story bad narrator. Verry distracting to the story. Disappointing because I like this series.

Great book

This was a great book. That's narrator ruined the audio book with her bland voice. She did not bring g the story to life like the book and story deserved. Please do not use this narrator again.

OMG Unexpected Plot Twist!

This was one of the best books I've ever read! At first I thought this book would be predictable, but the ending really threw me for a loop. Can't wait to read the third book in the series to see how it all ends. I really enjoyed every minute and there was some great action.

What a surprise ending

This very hot romantic mystery had a very shocking, maybe you’d call it a cliffhanger ending. But who wouldn’t want the 3rd in a trilogy anyway, glad it’s available. Still don’t like the narrator, she has too high pitched if a voice for males & even too squeaky for some females. Where the men are thinking, she uses her female voice, so if you leave for a bit & come back you think it’s the female thinking & makes no sense.
