Publisher's summary

She's a good-girl control freak. He's a bad boy in need of a clean image. Will these opposites attract or self-destruct?

Scarlett Kelly is the poster child for responsible living. Growing up as the daughter of the town floozy, she's made it her mission to be the exact opposite of her mother. So when she wakes up naked and hung over in bed with a bad-boy rock star, she bolts immediately. There's only one problem: Scarlett's bedmate is her new husband.

Gavin needs to repair his image, or his music career will go down the tubes. He's also just learned he has a son he never knew existed. He needs to settle down, and bribing his new wife to stay married may just fit everything into place. Scarlett agrees to the ruse to help her family's financial troubles even though she can hardly control herself around the rock star.

As they search for Gavin's son, will their unlikely matrimony give them exactly what they've been missing or send them packing?

Too funny

The s was a new author and narrator for me. I enjoyed the story and the narrator. The fight with the water hose had me laughing so hard I was crying. Enjoyed how this couple learned to love and play together and become each other’s Center

Well performed

The best part about this book eas the performer. The book itself was rather silly, but it was well performed and it has its merits. The writing is at times mundane, even trite, but the reading of it and the overall positivity of the story make it a worthwhile listen.

A must read

I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I'd say if you're going to read one romance this year, this is the one.

Jennifer Grace is a new fave!

Now I recall why I know Jennifer's voice. She has been a narrator I have listened to in the past. This read is too too hilarious!! one of my favorite must haves in a book. HUMOR!! Not sure … if there is anything more important? humor is a must. it will get you out of the sticky situations. Embarrassing, odd … it is just too great. humor. oh how I love thee!! let me count the ways!! I will probably be using my next credit to get the next book … so much on my TBR list. Loved this book. Such a must hear on Audible. ( ;

A bit difficult to stomach

This book was hard for me to finish for a bunch of reasons. People not telling things to each other could have saved everyone a bunch of trouble. Legally speaking the antagonist was... more than unbelievable ( but I work in law so that's my own deal ). And the depiction of Texans not knowing many adverbs or adjectives and instead using increasingly ridiculous metaphors was silly. This is one of my favorite tropes and Jennifer Grace is always awesome, but it does rely on the cliche if secret keeping so if that bothers you skip it.
