He can't believe this is happening to him. Especially when most of the males in their tribe are willing to accept one of these puny females. Not him. He's never rutted with one and doesn't have any desire, whatsoever, to rut with one in the future, let alone mate and impregnate one. Claiming one of these females will not be an easy feat considering there are three other dragon tribes vying for the opportunity. How the hell is he supposed to do all of this when he doesn't want to come within a mile of one of these unsavory creatures? Guaranteed HEA!

Book was Rushed

The Storyline was rushed but seemed to have a good start. I wonder if this is just a highlight of a bigger book. I was disappointed I used a full Credit for such a short story. The Narrator’s were great. But the storyline could be added to and it would improve the quality of the series. I don’t plan to buy anymore as I see these books are about the length as this one. Unless, I see an improvement to rewrite this series.

Julie as a character is pretty irritating other then you wanting to pull your hair because of her it's a great listen

Hooked On A New Series!

I do enjoy shifter and paranormal romance. This is a story of dragon shifters who over time have less females and some are infertile. Compatible has been found with human females

Less then happy about it. He will perform his duty which becomes less of a duty once he meets Julie
Julie was taken without her knowledge by dragons to take part in their hunt. The dragons did have specific criteria, young enough to have children, no children of their own, no partner, and in circumvent their life that makes taking part in the hunt and if they choose to become a mate of a dragon shifter a positive experience. The dragon shifters are protective, do not physically or mentally abuse the women and
are quickly accepted by the women, except Julie.
Love the story, love the Mateo and can’t wait to move forward in the series

I wanted to like it but

The h was so unbelievably annoying I couldn't take it and did not finish. Seriously her outraged ranting was really grating and it seemed she was incapable of logical thought with no sense of self-preservation. Actually make that no sense. at. all.

Needs to be a Series

There are a lot of missed details in this story and some of the storylines have been dropped. the sex is hot and the story does follow all the senses. The heroine gets on a person nerves after a while with her attitude. The reader never catches a break. Try the story and see, some if it is quite good.

Performance

I did not care for nearly every chapter alternating between a male and female. Should have just let female perform female role and male to perform for males.
