He reached a hand up and pushed his thumb across her cheek, "You won't die here. Not today."

Léonie nodded, "I know. I believe you."

A Romantic Seal..

Any additional comments?

Ty, the male lead and a Navy Seal, is on a mission overseas trying to deal with the affects

of a bomb hitting a children's hospital.

The story starts off with a BANG, literally, and moves at a fast pace.

The author has created an entertaining book, a well developed plot as well as characters.

Overall, a Good Read, filled with Action, Suspense, Romance, and a Hot Hero...

I look forward to other novels by the author and narrator.

Barbara Nevins Taylor did really well with the narration.

Review: Seal

Wasn't sure how this one was going to end, but it was pretty good. Characters needed a little more depth. Narrator was decent (though not a fan of the French accent!)

Sweet Romance

Any additional comments?

This is nice romance about two people caught up in a difficult place and circumstances. A hot seal and a beautiful woman are thrown together in a war zone and find common ground in trying to survive. It's an entertaining romance with some unexpected action yet a somewhat predictable outcome. The narration is good, clear and the voices are distinct so it’s easy to follow. If you’re interested in an easy to listen to sweet romance, this is a good audiobook.

Romancing the Seal

Any additional comments?

Overall an entertaining and enjoyable story. Sometimes you find love in the most unlikely of places. Romance, action, suspense and a HEA. Emotions run high when your in an intense life threatening situation.

Ty was a interesting and believable character. A hot alpha Navy Seal that has some flaws. Leonie was also an interesting and believable character. The ups and downs their relationship went through made their relationship much more believable and normal. You can't take things for granted. Misunderstandings, pride, jealousy can kill even the best relationships.

Barbara Nevins Taylor did a good job with the narration. This is the first time I have listened to her narrate a book. Pleasant voice. Good character voices. Clearly spoken. Her French accent wasn't always consistent. Sometimes it was very thick other times it was not. Although when her French accent was thicker it was believable. She sounded just like many of my extended family members who are French.

Chapter 4 towards the end of the chapter repeated lines. Some static in the background during chapter 19.

HOT ROMANCE FOUND IN THE MOST UNEXPECTED SITUATION

Any additional comments?

I was provided this audiobook through Audiobook Boom at no charge by the author, publisher and/or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review.

I don't ever remember anyone actually being referred to as a SEAL, but I may have missed a reference. But, it was packed with action and in an unlikely setting for finding true love. Amidst bombs and death, he saves her and she shows a courageous and caring heart. What I didn't like was the future jump that didn't give any reason for his complacency and indifference. After having complete, single-minded devotion, he became an ass. Like, huh? But all's well that ends well and the book kept my interest from start to finish.

Narration was good except the french accent was, at times, inconsistent in it's accuracy

All in all, worthy of Two Thumbs Up.
