Great Except...

I enjoyed the three books series, but detested the voice of the narrator of this book three.

The Narrator Sucked...

The book was a good series, but the narrator Lisa Smith that did the first 2, did way better with the voice overs than the chick that did this one. I can’t even remember her name, but she made all the women sound like some country bumpkins & made all the men sound like OLD men! She sucked narrating this book, I wish Lisa would have done this one too, at least you knew which woman was talking without anyone sayin their name when they were talkin....the men sounded somewhat the same, but you still knew who was who & you could tell which ones were really young & which ones were a little older. This chick has EVERYONE sounding country & old as hell! Just cuz their in Texas didn’t mean she had to make all them sound like that, people born & raised in Texas don’t sound that country.....she could have just had Nicole sounding country since she was the one from Alabama, but NOT EVERYBODY! I hope she’s not narrating anymore of Cydney‘a books! Smh

THE VOICE

I couldn’t wait to get to this book, but now that I’m here, I waisted my last credit… The person reading the book, was trying to have a country southern accent and it just didn’t work. Oh how I wish I could get my credit back for this!!

I liked the story but narrator is eh. I didn’t like how the men sounded like they were all high all the time or half dead and I could barely differentiate between female characters.

THIS IS A 3 PART SERIES

I really enjoyed this series. i loved that I found all 3 books here on Audible. That doesn't always happen. (SAD) This was the 1st series I read by this author I really enjoyed it. I felt like I got a chance to know the characters. The reader was good.... No she was great. I will be looking for more books that are narrated by her.

Excellent series

I love the book series and the storyline. The first two books were read really great, but this last book whoever did this audible made Edison sound like he was 80 and Nicole sounded slow. It was hard for me to follow along and stay with it.

but it really was a page turner after that. Nicole was crazy af. good book.

why would they do this to us. The narrator is horrible. she ruined this book for me.

I love the series, but this particular one I did not enjoy this narrator..why does everyone all of a sudden have a a different voice, a southern draw..I didn’t like it..if I wasn’t curious on how it ended I wouldn’t have continued to listen..it was cringing to me 🤷🏽‍♀️
