Publisher's Summary

A mistress-turned-wife with a dream marriage gone wrong. The perfect plan for payback. And fallout so explosive, even winning may mean losing it all.

The new Mrs. Rashad Eason can't believe it. She dreamed, schemed, and seduced her way to media adoration and a fairy-tale wedding to the lover she stole from his wife. But the honeymoon phase turns into something more shattering when the groom begins to reminisce about his ex, Kiara, and devises a plan to win her back. No way is Nicole going to stand for this. If she can't be the picket-fence wife, she'll be the picture-perfect, very rich widow. And sexing her ex-con first love will ensure his help - and keep her hot and satisfied through those lonely grieving nights.

But in the game of love and revenge, everyone has a score to settle. And when karma rears its ugly head, no one can stay safe.

To keep her own hands clean, Nicole must spin new lies, flip new scripts - and deal with the ultimate betrayal. Keeping her enemies close means igniting secrets and revelations even Nicole doesn't see coming. And as an avalanche of scandal threatens to shatter everything she's trying to keep, the last woman standing may be the biggest loser of all.

THIS IS A 3 PART SERIES

I really enjoyed this series. i loved that I found all 3 books here on Audible. That doesn't always happen. (SAD) This was the 1st series I read by this author I really enjoyed it. I felt like I got a chance to know the characters. The reader was good.... No she was great. I will be looking for more books that are narrated by her.

Everything That Looks Good isn’t Always Good

Ms. Rax did a great job wrapping up the series. Even though this is the last book in the Love & Revenge series...I could see another book or two with a few of the characters. A continuation of their story. Overall, I enjoyed this book. There were times when I wanted to punch Nicole in the face and their were other times when I wanted to give her a hug. She is a very complexed young lady. If you love reading drama, you’ll definitely love this book.

Ok

The narrators voice is annoying. It feels like the tone of the story changed. Nicole’s character completely changed. I think the author should of picked up the momentum from the second book in the series

I listen to all three books back-to-back the first two books had better readers. this particular reader was not my favorite I couldn't really pinpoint what it was but after listening to the other two books consecutively this reader was just not as good as the other two.

Horrible Narrator

Although I enjoy audible books when the voices of the characters match the characters gender. When female narrators portray male characters it is an instant turn off for me. This was by far the WORST narration that I’ve listen to. I was tempted to just read the book to find out what happened

Puzzled & terribly disappointed

I’m puzzled as to WHY, WHY, WHY on earth did the characters speech change so drastically. From proper to a southern drawl. The change was so drastic from books 1 & 2 that it was difficult to listen to. And the voice of the male characters...ugghhh; gasp. HORRIBLE.

Other than that the story was slow & boring compared to books 1 & 2. Terribly disappointed.

Seemed like a different writer finished this series

This book seemed vastly different from the last two in my opinion. The characters didn’t match up with the personalities developed in the first two books. Lastly, the narration was probably the worst I’ve ever heard ever. Women faking men’s voices...just no...no. Disappointed in the price for the quality of the production.

I'm not happy

This book was a huge let down. Mostly because or the narrator! Her piss poor attempt at a southern accent is close to unbearable. I felt as if I was listening to Gone With the Wind gone bad! It's supposed to be a modern story, but all the characters sound like slaves.

The story itself is off as well, how did Jerry go from fighting in vans, just a story ago, to a feeble old man in this one. The characters dont even seem to have the same personalities, it seems as if it's not the same series.
