Story 2.5 in the Reckless Beat series

In Vegas, a lot can happen in 24 hours.

What do you get when you mix a rock band as hot as Reckless Beat, women strong enough to capture several of the bad boys' hearts, and a bet that sparks a competitive streak?

Boundaries will be pushed, alcohol will be abused, and loads of sarcasm will be shared.

Once the games are over, it's time to make a commitment. But love in the limelight is never easy. The past is trying to catch up with the present, and the pressure may be too hard to handle.

Seduction, torment, laughter, and heartbreak - one reckless weekend will test each member of the band and the women who've claimed their love.

Reckless Weekend

This story had some funny moments. And, I love some of the back and forth between these guys. It's a short read with a lot of fun.

Reckless Weekend

Fantastic, DC Cole is my favorite rock star I could listen to him all day.
All three narrators (Tracy & Josie) did a great job I really enjoyed this audiobook, had me LOL on more than one occasion. Love it when all the band mates are together, the conversations and scenarios they get in are hilarious.

Reckless Beat Novella

Everyone's back for Mitch and Alana's wedding, and the Vegas revelry is stellar! I love the bachelor/bachelorette scavenger hunt/dare fest. There's a lot packed into this shorter story: hilarious antics, earbud-melting heat, some seriousness and life drama and a set up for more wildly entertaining installments to come.

The narration is perfect for the series. DC Cole nails the male rock star personas and also does a good job with voicing the females. Josie Minor and Tracy Marks are total pros who handle all their characters beautifully as well. I NEED to know what's next for a couple of the characters and where the band goes from here. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great book...

This book is a great addition to the series. For a short(ish) book is sure packs in a lot of different things. At different points I cried in sadness, and at others I cried in happiness and at others I laughed out loud.

I love that Eden's books contain characters that I've grown to care about and that have left me emotionally involved.

The narration is well done, it switches between narrators as the POV changes and the narrators worked well together with the character voices from each working together.

This book was supplied free by the author/narrator/publisher and I voluntarily wrote this honest review.

Great listen!

I have listened to several books by Eden Summers, Josie Minor, Tracy Marks, & D.C. Cole, and all are very talented. I thought this book was exceptionally well done and the thought of using 3 narrators was perfect. This book is a standalone listen and continuation of the series. There are laugh out loud moments in this story, and one can visualize so much. Each narrator put so much into their performance -- you could feel so many emotions! I will definitely continue to listen to this series and more books by the author and narrators. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but my opinion of it. There is so much to the book beyond hot sex, humor, wedding stress, pranks, healing, that one just needs to listen and enjoy. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out on audio!

A fun audio!

Any additional comments?

This was my first book by Eden Summers and I am wishing I had discovered this smouldering series sooner!!! Now I am going to go back and start on the previous books! This story was hilarious, sweet and smoking HOTTTT!!!! I loved the band banter and the Vegas shenanigans!! I am dying to find out the back stories for these characters now!! Eden Summer's narrative flowed so well through each chapter and the narrators did a fantastic job with the characters, especially the Australian accent! A fun, flirty and heartwarming story that had me laughing and swooning!

I was voluntarily provided this review copy audiobook at no charge by the author, narrator or publisher.

Hilarious Sexy heart felt novella

This time the sexy mischievous bad boy rockers of Reckless Beat are back for an epic wedding Vegas style.
Before this wedding can get started the honeymoon challenge list has to be completed for the bachelor/bachelorette party.
The crazy antics get underway with tasks that include alligator sperm, cock sucking cowboys, and nightmare spa treatments.
I literally laughed so hard I thought I would piss myself.
I was so immersed in this American pie style wedding I couldn't stop listening to this novella.
I don't want to mislead and make this book sound like its just an easy fun listen because some parts are emotional.
But at the same time a majority of the book is pure fun.
Eden Summers is on 🔥🔥🔥 with this series and just when you think it can't get any better she out does herself again.
Even though her books leave me with a scence of closure I still want more.
The same goes for the narrators.
At this point I can't imagine another group of narrators bringing these lovable characters to life.
I was gifted this book from Eden Summers in exchange for my honest review.
My opinion is.. its worth every fabulous star I've given it and the credit.
If you're looking for a series with heat, humor, and plenty of ❤, you found it.
I know I can't wait to hear what happens next.

Read the other books first

I read this's book and also listened to the audio version. The story was interesting, but it was pretty clear right away that it would have been a lot better had I read the first two books prior to reading/listening to this one -- however that is my problem, not the author's problem. The audio version was performed by three narrators with D.C. Cole doing the men's pov, Josie Minor doing Gabi's pov (Australian accent), and Tracy Marks doing the rest of the female pov. While I thought that Cole and Minor did a good job with the narration, I really wished that Ms. Marks would slow down and not be so choppy.

Love this series!

Reckless Beat is by far my favorite rock band series. There is something about the way Eden Summers as created this cast of characters that has me thoroughly enraptured with the story. Reckless Weekend takes us to Vegas for the bachelor/bachelorette parties for Mitch and Alanna. The question comes down to, is it true what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas? There is a competition between the two parties with the result choosing the honeymoon destination. The antics are just so funny, so HOT, and so Vegas, you can't help but want to see where it will end. Bandmates are tight, we always hear that, but in the case of Reckless Beat, these five musicians have something special. Always there for each other no matter what, we see each one step up and help each other out, or take one for the team. I still find my favorite to be Blake, his sarcasm and bravado is just what is needed in many situations and he is there standing by Mitch. We also get to see the sweet, emotional, tender side of him with Gaby. The girls are developing their own bonds, which the way it's written, we as readers almost feel like we are now part of the group. With the return from Vegas comes the wedding of Alanna and Mitch, with a twist as well! I loved this book, and cannot wait for Undesired Lust to come out in audio.

DC Cole, Tracy Marks and Josie Minor all return to this novella. It could not be a better cast performing these books, perfect for each character. It's how we know them and brings us back to listen.

reckless indeed

I was looking forward to listen to my fave voices of Mr. Cole and Ms. Marks . They delivered as usual, I could listen to their voices for hours. At the same time discovered Ms. Minor who delivered a good Australian accent.
The story was good, hilarious at times, cringe worthy at others while following the two groups' shenanigans in the contest between the bride and groom. It doesn't come out as either intended, but it all works out in the end. Alana is annoying with her fretting, spoiling the story a bit for me.
