Publisher's Summary

The Remingtons is a series of stand-alone romances that may also be enjoyed as part of the larger Love in Bloom series. Voted Best Book Series by Supportive Business Moms, UK

In Read, Write, Love...

Best-selling author Kurt Remington lives to write. He spends 12 hours a day in front of his computer, rarely leaving the seclusion of his beach-front property, where he's come to finish his latest thriller - that is, until free-spirited Leanna Bray nearly drowns in the ocean trying to save her dog. Kurt's best-laid plans are shot to hell when he comes to their rescue. Kurt's as irritated as he is intrigued by the sexy, hot mess of a woman who lives life on a whim, forgets everything, and doesn't even know the definition of the word organized.

Leanna's come to the Cape hoping to find a fulfilling career in the jam-making business, and until she figures out her own life, a man is not on the menu. But Leanna can't get the six-two, deliciously muscled, and tragically neat Kurt out of her mind. She tells herself she's just stopping by to say thank you, but the steamy afternoon sparks a wild and sexy ride as Kurt and Leanna test the powers of Chemistry 101: Opposites Attract.

Of course I love this book.

I have realized since I have started listening to Melissa Foster's Love in Bloom series that I love the stories even more then when I read them. There is something magical about hearing their voices, hearing their feelings, and remembering what endeared them to me in the first place. BJ Harrison is so talented. He has a calm, easy listening voice that portrays the characters perfectly.

Kurt is wonderful. He is not playboy. He stays to himself, works non-stop writing, and isn't looking for love. Which means of course he meets Leanna and she disrupts his entire world. I love how opposite these two are. One is organized and settled in their way while the other is unorganized, messy, and is just finding out what they are meant to do in life. Together they work. They keep each other grounded and real while also learning how to give of themselves and change some of their habits.

As always, with this entire series, I found myself picturing Kurt and dreaming of him. Treat is still my all time crush, but Kurt is definitely ranked high in my book crush list. I will recommend this entire series, including Read, Write, Love, to any romance readers.

Love

Kurt Remington is a writer. He spends 12 hours a day writing. That is until free-spirit Leanna Bray and her dog pops into his life unexpectedly. Kurt is total neat freak and Leanna is a total mess. She makes Jams to sell at the local flee market. Melissa Foster hit this one out of the park. Also introduced us to the seaside girls Leanna’s best friends. BJ Harrison did an amazing job with narration.

A neat freak and a jam maker... can that turn out well?

Kurt and Leanna are the definition of opposites attract and you will find yourself rooting for their romance. Leanna is a bit of a free spirit looking to find her way and Kurt is a world-renowned neat, organized author. Throughout the sweet story read how they balance and learn from each other and realize how they both enrich each others lives and how Kurt helps to push Leanna to be her best. Kurt is the last of his siblings to fall and he may have fallen the furthest.

Also, you get to learn some of the personalities of the other Seaside girls and I cannot wait to hear more of their stories.

Oh, and my favorite character in the whole story is Pepper - and I think you will love Pepper too!

I loved listening to the frustration of Kurt as relayed by Mr. Harrison, he does a great job throughout his reading.

You should hurry and get this fun and sexy yet incredibly sweet novel right away!

When opposites attract

They have different personalitys and shouldn't be a match but from the moment Kurt rescues Leanna and her dog he is hooked. She is quirky, untidy and not sure what she wants in life, he is organised, tidy bordering on OCD and knows what he wants in life. They form an easy friendship which blossoms into a full blown romance. And on top of it all he loves her dog. This is a great introduction to the next series from Melissa the Seaside series. We get to meet Leanna's best friends who all have different sides to them but all fit. Loved this book, had the right amount of laughter, tears and romance. Definitely worth a listen.

Great book!

This was another great read by Ms. Foster! I enjoyed watching Leanna and Kurt's story unfold. I felt that the characters were well written with the reclusive Kurt learning to leave his comfort zone and free spirited Leanna learning to find herself and love with Kurt. Their story was well written and I enjoyed the addition of new characters from the Seaside community. The narration of the story was well done by Mr. Harrison as he was enthusiastic throughout the story and did well giving life to all of the characters in this story. I enjoyed Kurt and Leanna's story from the start and would recommend it to others.

I love Kurt Remington

I love this book so very much as the chemistry between Kurt and Leanna is electric. They are totally opposites attracting. The audio brings the book so much to life that it felt like I was right there with them both as their story unfolded. Highly recommended.
