It’s good . It’s a short story so there’s not much detail but it was good listen. Glad I grabbed it

For a short story this was quite a solid read. I really enjoyed it! Yeah there were a few issues with it but the plot felt rather complete for it's length. I read/listen to a lot of PNR and some authors can't manage to pull off their full length novels as well as Bloom did with this short story.

I found the hookup extremely believable. Hot too. Some authors write sex scenes that are graphic but not hot. You read/listen to them almost as if they were any other scene because the author's writing can't stir up your blood. This was not a problem for the author. I definitely got a bit hot under the collar while listening to this.

The biggest issue with this story is something that drives me crazy. Not once in the story does it say it's Stephanie's birthday. Not. Once. Yet it says it's her birthday in the blurb. Which then sheds light on what was different about the day that this story starts on. Her inner musings "say" something like "especially on this day" a few times but we never learn what the day is. I believe the line got cut in edits by mistake. But that's a BIG thing to cut. I'm glad I listened to instead of read it. I'm afraid I'd find typo and editing issues that would drive me crazy.

I definitely think that this story is for you if you're looking for a short, hot listen/read and like PNR. I know I liked it and I'm excited to see if any more of Bloom's work is available on Audible.

I think the narration was good. I was easily drawn into the story. I just needed more definition between the males.

Pet Peeve Alert:
Unfortunately the author named/listed the kindle version of this crazily on Amazon: Shifter Romance: Ravaged by the Dragon's (a BBW Weredragon Menage Shifter Romance) (Shapeshifter Military Paranormal Short Stories). Super excessive, right? And how many times does it need to say shifter? I think it has something to do with certain selling points. I've seen other authors do this and I absolutely hate it. It's insane to list the "tags" in the title. Plus on top of it the only mention of the military in the story was when it said that Justin used to be in it. Oh, and someone had a "military haircut". How does that make the story a "Shapeshifter Military Paranormal..." ?
