AWESOME SERIES. FANTASTIC PLOT!

Excellent story line. This series is very good. Every book has different and exciting plot. Both female and male protagonists are wonderful. Sarah and Raj are are awesome. There are lots of action and intrigues. Excitement all the way. Worth a credit.

Fun series

Nothing serious but full of non stop adventure with s touch of humor. It was s nice get away from the norm

A solid Paranormal Romance Series

I started this series with books 5, 6 and 7, and have now gone back to the beginning of the series to catch up. This is my third book in the series narrated by Traci Odom. Anyway, I'm still enjoying this series and will continue on to book 4.

ONE OF THE BEST VAMPIRE SERIES & A GREAT NARRATOR

This really is a great Vampire series to get caught up in.... there's hot hunky vamps, strong heroines and exciting plots and this one doesn't disappoint. Raj is the Master of New York and he has to bow down to his Sire who's The Lord of the Northeastern Vampires but who is slowly going insane. He has summoned Raj to Buffalo to try and find out who's been snatching young women from Blood Bars and why. Buffalo is where Sarah lives and he was instantly attracted to Sarah when he met her in NYC when she visited with her friend Cyn who is mated to Raphael (the powerful Lord of the West Coast) and now that he bumps into her again his attraction grows along with his sexual and blood urges, his possessiveness and his aggression if anyone else touches her. Sarah is also attracted to the sexy blonde Alpha Vampire but she has some deep secrets she's not willing to share even though they're working on solving the same case.

Slowly clues come together, attraction grows and there's lust filled kisses and witty banter but all Hell breaks loose when her secrets are revealed and Raj feels deeply betrayed but the clues are still building in the chilling kidnapping case. Sarah and Raj have a lot of verbal sparring with tensions rising and then their slowly building relationship suddenly explodes in some frenzied sex scenes (which are well worth the wait). Suddenly his take-over bid to be the Lord by defeating his Sire is coming to a climactic dramatic conclusion with only one winner. Then Sarah becomes one of the victims and he can't hold on to his temper because someone has betrayed them and someone's about to be turned to dust.

Dual POV's, non stop action in an exciting addictive plot, a few interesting secondary characters but the real joy came from the narrator who did a perfect job at all the different accents, the emotions and the dialogue and she turned a great book into an awesome listen.

Worth a credit? If you want a Vampire romance with a sexy hero, a strong heroine, an intense, romantic storyline and a great narrator then look no further than this listen which was definitely creditworthy. It could be a stand alone listen but it does have Raphael and Cyn from a previous book making an appearance and ends with them in a very chilling situation which is a big teaser for the next V.I.A. book.

She is a talented actress -she portrays the characters so varied that she has become the voice of cyn Raphael and All the others without falling into falsettos that grate on the readers nerves - she hits it just right

Love this series

I have reread this series several times. This is my first time listening to them and I am burning through them quickly. I will have to slow down before I break my bank.

What did you love best about Rajmund?

I didn't like much about Rajmund, although he was a strong character and knew what he wanted. He was not as romantic as I expected, nor did he fight for his mate like I thought he would. He put work above her. The story was great, but the main protagonist is definitely a wholly different character than the others in this series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Rajmund?

When Rajmund basically sent Sarah away. Can you believe that!! It all turned out good, though. Just another typical outstanding writing example of D.B. Reynolds.

What about Traci Odom’s performance did you like?

How she keeps the character's voices consistant.

Sarah's past and how Rajmund pushed her out of his life because he thought he needed time to become Vampire Lord.

Fortunately Book Two didn't end in a cliffhanger so this starts out fresh. Raymond is a very loyal and powerful vampire in NYC, yet his obedience to his Lord has been stretched thin as Lord Krystol's age slowly drives him insane. Raj knows he will soon have to challenge his Lord and begins to plan for it when Krystof demands his presence and attention to a cryptic problem in Buffalo, NY. It just happens to be where Sarah lives. One past chance encounter with her that he's never forgotten. A cliffhanger ending that'll have you grabbing Book Four!

Wow. What a ride this book delivered!
Traci Odom is her consistent best!
